| 1 | Taking out carefully existing steel door leaf with steel structure each shutter exc 12 sqm (size 3.84x3.75 sqm approximate) including top rollers & bottom wheels, sheet coverings (without damaging to existing infrastructure). etc complete with required T&P like hydra or other suitable mechanical tools and manpower with cutting welding etc and placing the same on levelled ground carefully for repairing of damaged sections complete all as specified and diercted.Note (i) T&P (Hydra/crane) required for taking down the door leaf for repair shall be arranged by the contractor at his own and the unit rate quoted shall include the cost thereon. No extra claim shall be paid on this account.(ii) Replacement of defective steel members, sheets, top and bottom wheels item shall be measured and paid against respective items of this schedule and old items retrived shall be taken under schedule of credit. (iii) Safety norms for working manpower shall be solely responsibility of the contractor. |

| 4 | S&F framed work asin doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, locking arrangment, sliding bolt etc. complete, drilled or welded for fixing of steel sheeting or other connected items of doors etc to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges (type/pattern as approved by GE) or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive or steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and make it complete for fastening and fixing complete Fe 410-W (Gde-E-250) quality A, as in existing main horizontal/vertical sections, bracing plate at bottom for wheel fixing of MS framed structure of doors and other connecting plates and welding whatever required after making them prefectly straight and alinged complete all as specified and directed. |
| 5 | S&F rolled mild steel sections, joist channel, angles or tee sections, fixed independetly without connecting plates, drilling holes for anchor bolts etc (cut to ordinary lengths i.e. within 20mm of the length indicated) of standard sleeper of ISMC 150 (Channeled sleepers Fe 410-W (Gde-E-250) quality A & J bolt of dia 12mm required length shall be fixed on sleeper to align it on floot, to support the rails on it after making them perfectly straight/levelled/aligned and checked with laser rays, inclusive of welding, riveting, drilling, notching, cutting of nut bolting with washers etc complete all as specified and directed. |
| 6 | S&F of standards rails (30lbs) or equivalent section including stoppers fixed by welding, riveting of boltingincluding cutting notching etc at specified locations to restrict further movement of doors, fixed on sleeper on ISMC 150@ distance 750mm (channeled sleepers shall be measured and paid for in relevant items) to support the hanger door wheels on it after making them perfectly straight, aligned and checked with laser rays, and j-bolts of dia 12mm and required length shall be fixed on sleeper to align and levelled it on floor complete all as specified and directed. |
| 7 | S&F in repair of roller wheel assembly on bottom wheels including nut bolts, connecting plates 2.70 cm thick etc for movement on bottom rail with each effective force 100 Kgf on the existing door. The bottom wheel shall be (SS-304 grades) adequate strength to sustain the load of door leaf, made of high tensile stainless steel machined with high precession, double flanged (Minimum 15 mm flange and as required at site) fitted with heat resistant maintenance free lubricanting sealed double bearings. The wheel diameter shall not be less than 150mm & the shaft diameter should not be less than 20mm the guide channel and wheel assembly for bottom support suitable to enable movement of each shutter by application of 100 Kgf of force. Bottom wheel shall be designed to take all the load of door leaf in motion/high wind pressure and to protect the door leaf from derailling, Make & quality as approved complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. |
| 8 | S&F in repair of each top roller assembly (one at each support) for top support of each door leaf to move in guide channels at top guide. The top wheel shall be made of high tensile steel(SS-304 grade) machined with high precision fitted with heat resistant maintenance free lubricating sealed bearings. The wheel diameter shall not be less than 100mm or as per site requiement & the shaft/hexa pin dia shall t be as per site requirement. Top wheel shall be designed to take all load in motion/high wind pressure and to protect the door leaf from deralling/falling of guide. Make & quality as approved complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge. |
| 9 | Demolition of reinforcement cement concrete in ground floors and pavings any thickness including taking out embedded steel rails and associated members (below or above ground level) by diamond cutter and breaking by mechanical tools complete all as specified and directed. |

| 34 | M&L for checking various part of all types of hinges of each leaf and repair by welding and refixing the axle including oiling, greasing and aligned it as required to make the hinges easy and smooth operational/functional in existing door leaves complete all as specified and as directed.Note for all items :- (a) During execution of work, an experienced engineer who is specialised in heavy doors work shall be present at site.(b) 2 years Guaranteeis to be provided by the contractor for its maintenance and repairing. If any problem deformity/derailment occured,same should be rectified in time bound manner without any extra cost.(c) All necessary safety measures shall be taken during execution of work.(d) The subject work to be executed in highly restricted area, site/working area will be handed over in piece meal manner. The unit rate quoted shall included the cost thereof. No claims whatsoever on this account shall be entertained.(e) All the work shall be executed upto height of 08 mtr at site and all tools/eqpts shall be arranged by the contractor itself ,as required for entire completion of work without any extra cost to the govt. |
