| 1 | M&L preparing exsting black top surface with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags or mechanical air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming / tack coat of paving bitumen (VG-10) at the rate of 5.0 Kgs per 10 Square metre of road surface and providing 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) semi dense asphaltic concrete with 5.5% of binder (VG-30) by weight of total mix, mixed in hot mix plant, laid, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 10 to 12 Tonne power road roller complete all as specified and directed.Notes :-(a) Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be prepared in central computerised hot mix plant. (b) Design mix shall be got done by the contractor at his own expenses from NABL laboratory as decided by AGE (I). (c) Contractor shall quote his rates by considering binder contents @ 5.5% of total mix by weight, however in case of any variation in weight of binder contents on lower side as per actual mix design, the same shall be adjusted @ Rs. 60.00 Per Kg of bitumen. |
| 2 | M&L repairs to potholes any depth, not exceeding 01 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc, cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat of paving bitumen (VG-10) @ 5 kg per 10sqm, putting in pre-mixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed wtih bitumen binder 9.8Kg per 10Sqm, blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chipping, 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), and compacted to required camber and gradient with 10 to 12 tonne power road roller, depth of potholes exc 30mm complete all as specified and directed. |
| 3 | Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exceeding 400 sqm and not exceeding 50mm in deep including removing and stacking thereof as accounted under credit complete all as specified and directed. |
| 4 | M&L for Premixed Bituminuous Macadam using 4% binder content of paving bitumen of Grade VG-30 by weight of total mix (consolidatedthickness 75mm or less), laid using mechanical paver and compacted to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and directed. Notes :-(a) Premixed Bituminuous Macadam shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper.(b) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined by following the Mix Design procedure contained in the Asphalt Institute Manual MS-2 (Sixth Edition) as referred in case 3.5.3 of IRC 111:2009. The adjustment in rate due to variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of Rs. 60.00 Per KG of bitumen. |
| 5 | M&L applying evenly a priming/ tack coat of paving bitumen (VG-10) at the rate of 5.0 Kgs per 10 Sqm of road surface complete all as specified and directed. |
| 6 | M&L preparing bituminous surface of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stope lines, dashes, arrows etc and the line on roads pavement with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint of approved white or golden yellow colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturer\"s instructions including traffic diversion arrangement, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 7 | S&F metal tubular delineators made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/ 50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600mm height duly powder coated and thermoplastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150 x 150 x 300mm) type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate)complete all as specified and directed. |
| 8 | S&F solar cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100x100x20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No DA 972.0 fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturer\"s instructions, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 9 | S&F solar cat eye aluminium alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mmx125mmx25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafic solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd complete as per manufacturer\"s instructions etc complete all as specified and directed. |
| 10 | Notes :-An amount of Rs. 13150.00 on account of Credit Schedule for Schedule \"A\" Part-II shall be deducted from total quoted amount of BOQ to arrive at the contract sum. |
