| 1 | M&L for Supply install testing and commissioning of 17.2 mm Dia x 6000 mm Long (made from 2 Nos. of 3000 mm length duly coupled with Brass Coupler ) 250 micron Copper Bonded MS (Mild Steel Solid Rod) of Low Carbon Steel, One Side Threaded Rod with Brass Coupler ofHexagonal Type (not knurling type). The Earthing Rod shall be Factory made of 75 mm Casting made from Marconite -Conductive Concrete aggrecate (0.001 Ohm) & Cement of Ratio of 2:1 (2 Part Marconite & 1 Part Cement). One Earth Rods shall will be provided with either Welded T Clamp of Copper Bonded Strip or SS Strip Clamp or Certified Brass/SS U Bolt Clamp suitable for 25 x 6 mm Copper Strip Termination. The Pre Cast Rod shall be inserted in 100 mm Dia Augered / Bored Hole made with Augur or Compressor Boring Machine at site of/FOR 5800 mm length or length as per siterequirement for Bore Hole & Back filled with good quality soil after removing Stones, Pebbles & Crushed Stone as back fill complete all as specified and directed.as per following Notes : (a) Certificate of Copper Bonded Solid MS Rod shall be provided before making casting at factory.(b) Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) Certificate of Marconite (Carbon International Limited) shall be provided by contractor for authencity of Marconite. The Contractor shall also submit the certificate of 0.001 Ohm of Marconite Granule & then start the work of casting. The earth Pit / Grid calculation shall be carried as per BS-7430. The conductive concrete shall be manufaturered as per IEC-62561 & Test Certificate shall be provided by EPC. |
| 2 | Description for Srl Item No 1.00 Contd/- (c) Contractor shall submit sample type test report issued by CPRI for more than 12KA/1 Sec. for Marconite Casting Rod (d) Factory Aceeptance Testing of Marconite Casting shall be carried in presence of Client/Representative & Report shall be submitted. (e) All Hardware will be of SS316L grade. TC shall be provided along with supplies (f) Contractor shall provide `working drawings\" as per site condition & get approval from accepting officer before procurement & starting the work at site.(g) Method Statement for carrying the site activity shall be provided by client (h) Contractor shall make `AS BUILT\" Drawings on Autocad & shall submit to client in Hard Copies & Soft Format for Future Reference.(j) The work will be paid as per site measurement & qty can be changed as per site condition (k) It is required to deliver desired Grid Value less than 01 Ohm of Earthing Grid, contractor can verify soil resistivity by wenner 4 Point Method before starting of work & then carry site work.In event if desired Grid Value is not achieved then Contractor will have to carry extra earthing (free of Cost ) & Connect to the grid at free of cost. (l) Earth Strip for Interconnecting Earth Pits & Earth Pits to test points will be laid. The Earth Strip will be laid in excavated Trench.(m) Contrcator shall carry site survey with client to undestand the underground utilities like HT Cables, LT Cables, Data Cables, Water Pipe Lines & Other Utilities & then plan the site activities.(n) Contractor must have valid Electrical Contracting Licence of own to participate the Tender (o) All Workmen shall be provided with Safety Shoes, Hand Gloves, Goggles, Helmets. |

The Worker\"s ESIC No. & EPFO No. shall be provided before starting of the work to safe guard the client from any accidental liablity.(q) Contractor must have min 10 years Experience of professional Earthing solutions |
| 4 | M&L for Supply install testing and commissioning of 25 x 6 mm Copper Strip in Excavated Trench. The Rate of Strip donot include brazing/Jointing of the Strip & Excataion of Soil. However Connection with earth Pit is included in above. The EPC Agency must see that joints shall be as low as possible. The Scope includes supply of PVC Pipe of 40mm Dia at the Building entry complete all as specified and directed. |
