| 1 | Note for service and repair of equipment/machine/pump set etc.(a) Servicing, repair and replacement of parts and re-assembling after repair, installation, testing and commissioning of the equipment/machine/pump set etc shall be carried out through service engineer of OEM. Contractor shall also produce proof of the same.(b) The equipment/machine/pump set etc shall be dismantled and opened in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge and an inventories of defective parts required to be replaced/works to be carried out shall be prepared and signed by service engineer, Engineer-in-charge and contractor. Inventories shall be made carefully after thorough examination of serviceability of existing parts. Any parts essentially required other than considered in Sch ‘A’ for smooth functioning of equipment/ machine/ pump set etc shall be replaced by Contractor and rate for the same shall be deemed to include in rate quoted by Contractor.(c) The parts being replaced shall be brand new and shall be same make & specification to match with the existing parts of equipment/machine/pump set etc. The required parts shall be procured by the contractor from the authorized dealer and contractor shall also produce the original purchase voucher and proof of its purchase from authorized dealer to Engineer-in-Charge before claiming the payment.(d) Repair works carried out in each equipment/machine/pump set etc and their cost of repair will be entered in PRB duly given reference of CA No and name of work and counter signed by Engineer-in-Charge.(e) Rate for lifting and lowering (wherever required) of complete equipment/machine/pump set etc shall deemed to include in rate quoted by contractor |
