| 1 | M&L for carrying out load testing of EOT crane of capacity 2 TON to prove the satisfactory operation of electrical controls motors gears boxes protective device system interlocks mechanical componeants like wireropewels sections of the crane in all Motions (LT CT Hoist in high full load and testing of crane in over load at 110% and deflection test all as per IS:3177 of 1977 through Competent person of UP factory rules or any accredited agency as approved by GE(AF) Gorakhpur, duly certified including all consumables complete all as specified and as directed.Note: (i) Necessary pre calibrated certified loads(50 Kg pieces for higher alttitude) with load cell digital/ analogue type and Hydraulic mobile crane at site required for carrying load test shall be arranged by contractor and the rate quoted under this item is inclusive.(ii) Contractor has to arrange necessary tarpaulin/plywood to unload weights on the floor and ensure that the electrostatic floor/floor surfaces is not scratched/damaged during testing.(iii) Contractor shall submit two sets of original load test record alongwith certificates to Department. |

| 5 | Comprehensive maintenance, preventive maintenance and periodical repairs of electrically operated overhead traveling (EOT) / Hand operated overhead traveling (HOT) complete including material and labour for periodic inspection/servicing to be carried out, and making/keeping the cranes serviceable, installed in various technical bldgs, including the following operation applicable for 02 Ton capacity EOT Crance - 03 Nos:-(A) LONG TRAVEL MOTION AND CROSS TRAVEL MOTION(i) Checking Gear box oil level and filling with required oil and rectification of leakages if any. (ii) Brake adjustment (iii) Checking of Long travel & cross travel wheel for any noise/malfunctioning.(iv) Checking grease of Geared couplings, nut tightening and replacement of grease nipple. (v) Checking of oil in Hydraulic thruster brake, rectification of leakages if any and filling with required quantity of oil. (vi) Checking of electric motor connections, insulation resistance value etc. (vii) Checking the cut-off at extreme ends with the limit switch.(viii) Checking and greasing of shaft pedestal.. |
| 6 | (B) HOIST MOTION(i) Checking Gear box oil level and filling with required oil and rectification of leakages if any.(ii) Brake adjustment(iii) Checking of main bearings of the Rope Drum including greasing the same (iv) Checking grease of Geared couplings and nut tightening.(v) Checking of oil in Hydraulic thruster brake, rectification of leakages if any and filling with required quantity of oil. (vi) Checking of electric motor connections, insulation resistance value.(vii) Checking wire rope for any damage & greasing the rope.(viii) Adjustment of the rotary limit switch. (j) Checking of Bearing of the Hook and greasing the same(C) ELECTRICAL PANEL(i) Checking the contactors for overheating or flashing. (ii) General checking of contacts and connections. (iii) Cleaning of control panels and checking of connections. (iv) Checking of connections of VVVF drives/other drive, calibrating VVVF drive to get smooth movement & maximum efficiency / other drives for smooth functioning of the same.Details of Cranes under mentioned are located at Various Technical bldgs |

| 9 | All as per item No. 5 herein before but for 2 Ton capacity HOT crane - 03 Nos complete all as specified and as directed.Note applicable for item No. 5 to 8 :- (i) The rates quoted by the tenderers shall be deemed to include cost of grease, lubricant oil, brake oil,consumable cotton waste, thimbles, small pieces of cable lugs, nuts, bolts, washers, emery papers and other sundry items as required. (ii) Spares required other than specified shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of BOQ. (iii) The rate quoted under these items shall be deemed included for Accident Insurance of the working persons during working hours. (iv) The rate quoted by the tenderer shall be deemed for the proper different qualified man power for maintanance and attending repairs / complaints including safety belts,healmets and shoes etc.(v) After lodging the complaint , the tenderer has to rectify the complaint within 24 hours. (vi) The contractor shall employ Crane Mechanic along with Helper to attend the complaint ,comprehensive,preventive & periodocal services for smooth functioning of all cranes. (vii) The contractor shall maintain all installations provided under this contract as per IE Rules / Standard Engineering practice and maintenance of installation Log Book and Maintenance Register as decided by GE. |
| 10 | Taking down the unserviceable trailing cable and supply and fixing trailing cable of size 6 Sqmm 4 core (elastomeric rubber cables) annealed tinned flexible copper conductor, EPR insulated, cores laid up with fillers (wherever necessery) and binder taped, PCP outer sheathed cable of 1100 volts conforming to IS: 9968 (Part-1) 1988 & (Part-2) laid on existing cable trays/ crane structures using MS clamps/ cleats, glands, copper lugs and connecting in panel/ equipment complete all as specified and as directed. |
