| 21 | Supply, installation , testing and commissioning of maintenance free Chemical Earthing system with 80 mm dia and 3 meter length Copper bonded pipe Earthingwith 250 micronpipe filled with molecularly bonded crystalline conductive material in order to prevent the pipe from inner corrosion .The inner Copper strip must be of size 20 mmX 3 mm . 6-8 inches dia bore must be made up to 10.5 feet depth and the plateshould be placed on the centre of the Earth pit and the pit surroundings must be filled with conductolyte compound at least 75 Kg. The Compound should be filled with necessary processing as advised by company representative. In case where soil resistivity is high additional loops may be made by adding more number of electrodes to achieve the required result and the same shall be paid inclusive to the items. The connection must be well made with hot dip galvanized 80-100 micron Earth Strip as per required sizes for various devices as specified. The strip at ground level should be covered with heat shrink PVC Sleeve and the wiring must be insulated bey providing DMC insulatorand GI Saddled. The joining of Strips should have atleast two nut bolts and the same should be welded properly so that free space exsist on joints. The earth pits should be covered with pit cover of size 1.5 ft diaX 1.5ft length and must be mason worked with brick and cement to hold the pit cover firmly. Each connecting pits for devices should have earth bar of size 300X 300 made of Copper 6 Terminal box type which should have insulation. Incase where proper Clayaee soil is not available the pit of dia 1.5 mtrs must be dug. Before earthing installation of electrodes necessary processing must made for soil treatment as guided by Engr-in-Charge. 01 Each Set of Earthing Include05 Nos. Copper Bonded pipe grid. |
| 22 | Note for BOQ Sl No. 21 : (i) The Ohmic value should be less then 1 ohm.(ii) If the necessary earthing value is not provided by the contractor then the contractor shall be arranged further grids to achieve necessary value. No extra payment shall be made for additional grids for testing of soil. (iii) If the necessary earthing value is not provided by the contractor then the contractor shall be arranged necessary quantum of soil for required permiabilty to achieve necessary value. No extra payment shall be made for additional soil if required.
