The prime mover provided should be as per IS specifications.(b) Air intake system :Should comprise of dry type intake air filter mounted on engine, one in number vacuum indicator mounted on intake piping.(c) Exhaust System: Should comprise of one exhaust manifold, dry type, mounted on engine, one exhaust residential type silencer which should be positioned in such a way that the exhaust gas is not sucked by the fan on the radiator, thereby affecting the cooling system. The silencer should cater to the noise level tolerance prescribed in the relevant IS/BS. The silencer should be provided with flaps with a provision so that it will open only when the generator is running. The complete exhaust system shall be properly supported so that entire lot of the exhaust system shall not fall on the DG Set.(d) Fuel System: Should comprise of disposal type element fuel filter, pressure type fuel pump mounted on engine, non return check valve in fuel supply and drain lines, wire braided hose between filter and pump, fuel system with suitable capacity electronic governor and engine mounted actuator. The fuel tank must have proper locking arrangement with level indicator and to be integrated with base frame.(e) Cooling System: Should comprise of radiator designed and tested for 50oC ambient temperature with 7 PSI pressure cap mounted on base rail. The thermostat installed in the engine coolant outlet, fresh water pump mounted on engine, fan and fan hub mounted on engine. A reservoir of 50% of radiator capacity to replenish coolant by gravity (as and when required) is also to be provided. |

| 58 | Notes for Serial Item No. 46 to 51 above :- (i)The FGMs employed by the contractor shall be ITI qualified from recognised institute having sufficient knowledge and experience i.e. minimum 02 years in maintenance / operation of similar work. The operators must be competent to carry out the repairs / maintenance of plant as required. (ii) The operators shall maintain the desired quality treated water including tracing out and rectification of minor leakages in pipe line / valves during the period. (iii)The operators shall operate elctrical equipements, pumps and maintain the STP in workable condition by checking daily leakages noise, cleaning the plant and its surrounding areas of plant as directed. (iv) The Contractor shall maintain all registers, log books,under various rules, and shall be produced to the Engineer-in-Charge as well as officers detailed by central labour department. (v) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for cost of labour for daily for daily routine maintenance for trouble free functioning of installation. (vi) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive all consumables required for operation of STP.(vii) The payment to the staff employed shall be made within first week of every month through online mode in employees respective Bank Account. No payment to contractors / firms will be made unless proof of payment of wages / EPF / ESI etc through bank account is submitted by the contractor to all employees. Contractor shall produce details of payment made to the employees along with supporting documents for the verification of Engineer-in-Charge for processing the monthly / finall bills. In case of revision in pay slab by Government during the currency of contract, same shall be paid to the employee by the contractor and accordingly rates shall be quoted.(viii) The contracor should follow the terms & conditions of E-in-C\"s br policy no 10/2023 issued vide letter No A/95533/SCADA Sewage/Pol/E2W (PPC) dt 21 Jul 2023 .(ix) Necessary spare & manpower will be provides by Contractor.
