| 1 | Note for Srl Item No 2.00 to 11.00:-A) Removal of following existing unserviceable steel / wooden components of various MES FD/DB/FD/MAP/TP etc furniture items or similar items, carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts and S&F new components in lieu of dismantled components including tightening the joints, pinning, screwing, nailing, wedging, gluing, providing hinges, placing every part in-tact the disturbed portion, as applicable as per drgs and as directed by EIC.B) Work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units of GE(South) Delhi Cantt including Officers MD Accn in all pockets, BSO Furniture Yard and other repair ways in differnt locations under BSO GE(South) Delhi Cantt as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. C) Timber shall be of 2nd class teak wood seasoned.CRCA section/CRCA sheet shall be used in repair/maint of steel furniture.D) Items of various furniture issued to the Manekshaw Centre are required to be repaired at Manekshaw centre or BSO stores Yard as directed by Engr in charge. |
| 2 | S&F of various parts of furniture made out of MDF Board 18 mm thick both side laminated with one side teak shade and other side white for wooden and steel furniture of approved quality.All cutting and joining works including fabrication of board parts in repairs shall be with proper workmanship. All repairs shall be included dismantling old damaged parts and replacing the new parts along with other maintenance materials like wood adhesive, nails, bamboo pins if required, steel screws, wooden beading etc. complete all as shown on drawing and as directed. |
| 3 | S&F of wooden various parts of furniture articles made out of well-seasoned 2nd class hardwood teakwood in repairs, replacing the damaged wooden parts of furniture articles rest all as approved. All cutting and joining works including fabrication of wooden parts in repairs shall be with proper workmanship. All repairs shall be included dismantling old damaged parts and replacing the new parts along with other maintenance materials like wood adhesive, nails, bamboo pins if required, steel screws, wooden beading etc. complete all as shown on drawing and as directed. |

| 8 | M&L for removing old damaged / worn-out / dirty seats from the chair dining MAP / Chair dining officers etc and S&F new seats made out on 12mm thick plywood commercial and 40 D cushion and cover made out of cloth lateritic of approved quality. The stitching / fixing of tapestry cloth shall be done with proper workmanship complete all as shown on drawing and as directed. |
| 9 | S&F foam seats of size 21\" x 22\" x 4\" to the wooden sofa chairs made out of 40 D foam duly rapped with cotton tapestry cloth of approved pattern and colour, rates not less than Rs 350 per RM.The tapestry cloth shall be covered with proper workmanship and a zip closure at one end complete all as shown on drawing and as directed. |

| 11 | S & F in repairs after removing damaged pair of twin door shutter made out of 18mm thickMDF board 18 mm thick with one side teak lamination and other side white lamination.The exposed edges all around shall be provided 4mm x 18mm teak wood beading with wood adhesive and headless nails. 400 mm long SS handles shall be provided with appropriate size screws. Shutters shall be fixed with continuous piano hinges of appropriate sixe using SS screws of appropriate size complete all as shown on drawing and as directed. |
| 12 | S & F in replacement of Right single door shutter (single shutter) in repairs made out of 18mm thickMDF board 18 mm thick with one side teak lamination and other side white lamination.The exposed edges all around shall be provided 4mm x 18mm teak wood beading with wood adhesive and headless nails. 400mm long SS handles shall be provided with appropriate size screws. Shutters shall be fixed with continuous piano hinges of appropriate sixe using SS screws of appropriate size complete all as shown on drawing and as directed. |
| 13 | S&F of appropriate size drawer box in repairs made out of 18mm thick MDF board with one side teak lamination and other side white lamination and 4mm commercial ply at bottom.The drawers shall be fixed with SS telescopic fly rails of appropriate size using SS screws complete all as shown on drawing and as directed. |
| 14 | S & F in repairs after removing old damaged box and replacement of complete box made out of 18mm thick MDF board 18mm thick with one side teak lamination and other side white lamination.The exposed edges all around shall be provided 4mm x 18mm teak wood beading with wood adhesive and headless nails complete all as shown on drawing and as directed. |
| 15 | S&F 55mm x 25mm Teak wood membrane as bottom legs duly polished all around to the bottom of bin linen fixed with wood adhesive and SS screws of appropriate sixe screws after removing old damaged legs complete all as shown on drawing and as directed. |

| 18 | M&L for repairing and replacement of charpoy GI pipe with nylon newar and conversion of charpoy into charpoy hardtop by fixing 12mm commercial plywood.Repairing includes tightening of steel frame, proving 5mm x 40mm MS flat long rail to long rail 2 nos each charpoy by welding inside the plywood as directed.MS flat shall be painted with steel silver paint over a coat of steel primer. S&F in repairs after removing old damaged nylon newar, a single piece 12 mm thickplywood commercial type, minimum WR grade on top of charpoy fixing with 6mm dia flat head counter sunk steel screws 10 nos ( 03 on each long rail and 02 on each short rail total 10 nos with counter bolt)as per existingshape and size withsunken nut / boltscompleteall as drg and as directed |
