| 4 | M&L for premix bituminous macadam using paving bitumen of grade 30 Pack (VG-30) @ 4% by weight of total mixlaid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (condolidated theknis 50 mm or less) with 8 to12 tonne power road roller and rolled to a uniform smooth surface (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less), complete all as specified and as directed.Note: The contractor\"s quoted rate shall be also be deemed to include the following elements:(i)The contractor shall get the mix design done through GOvt approved Lab and the same shall be got approved from the bitumen content from the GE before providing Bituminous Mecadum.(ii) In case of varition in bitumen content as per approved design mix in comparision with the bitumen content as specified above, the varition in quantity of bitumen shall be adjusted @ Rs 42 per Kg. |
| 5 | M&L for bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete (SCAC) 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.50% binder content of paving bitumen grade 30 pack (VG-30) by weight of total mix, mixed in mechanical hot mix plant and remixed material laid with mechanical paver,rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and as directed.Note: The contractor\"s quoted rate shall be also be deemed to include the following elements: (i)The contractor shall get the mix design done through GOvt approved Lab and the same shall be got approved from the bitumen content from the GE before providing Bituminous Mecadum.(ii) In case of varition in bitumen content as per approved design mix in comparision with the bitumen content as specified above, the varition in quantity of bitumen shall be adjusted @ Rs 42 per Kg.(iii)The thickness of SDAC indicated above is the minimum thickness, Further it is clearfied that no payment for the addl. thickness in case required to be provided to achieve the desired levels, slope and making the undulations etc all as directed by the GE, shall be made. |
