| 6 | Note For Ser Item No 1.00 to 5.00PV MODULES:-The PV modules (Indian Make) from the approved ALMM list of MNREmust conform to the latest edition of any of the following IEC/equivalentBIS Standards for PV module design qualification and type approval: Monocrystalline siliconPERC modules with min module efficiency of 20% terrestrial PV Modules:IEC61215/IS14286/ Equivalent IS (if available as on last date of receipt of tender) In addition,the modules must conform to IEC 61701 Salt mist corrosion testing, IEC 62804- Certification for PID resistance ,IEC61730Part1-requirements for construction &Part2-requirements for testing,for safety qualification or Equivalent IS.:PV modules must qualify (enclose test reports/certificate from IEC/NABL accredited laboratory) as per relevant IEC standard. Low voltage drop bypass diodes shall be provided and have overall tollerance limit of +-3% |
| 7 | Each PV module must use a RF identification tag (RFID),which must contain the following information:(i) Name of the manufacturer of PV Module (ii) Name of the Manufacturer of Solar cells(iii) Month and year of the manufacture (separately for solar cells and module) (iv) Country of origin (separately for solar cells and module)(v) I-V curve for the module(vi) Peak Wattage, Im, Vm and FF for the module(vii) Unique Serial No and Model No of the module(viii)Date and year of obtaining IEC PV module qualification certificate (ix) Name of the test lab issuing IEC certificate (x) Other relevant information on traceability of module as per ISO 9000 series. Note:RFID shall be mandatorily placed inside the module laminate. |
| 8 | PV modules used in solar power plants/ systems must be designed for their output peak watt capacity, which should as per the MNRE guidelines. |
| 9 | Peak power rating of the module shall not be less than 500 Wp.The module efficiency shall be morethan 20 % at standard test condition and the cell should have minimum fill factor of 0.8 with anti reflective coating. It shall be made of high transmittivity glass & front surface shall give high encapsulation gain.Note: Anti dust coating on PV modules shall be done as per OEM specification |
| 10 | The module frame will be made of Hot dip galvanised (Mild Steel) or Aluminium designed to withstand harsh cliamte conditions and wind speed not less than 150 Km / Hr or as per local conditions whichever is higher. The mounting structure shall be as per IS 2062 - 1992, galvanised material shall confirm to latest IS 4759. |

| 12 | The module shall be provided with a junction box with either provision of external screw terminal connection or sealed type and with arrangement for provision of by-pass diode. | 17 | COMBINER BOXES & ELECTRICAL PANEL-Combiner box & LT distribution electrical panel with suitable Incoming and outgoing breakers as per the design of inverter and array structure incl bus bar of size 1.8 times the rated current from the inverters.Incoming and outgoing MCCBs should be of suitable capacity.Note-Platform for the panel with PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 with 40 mm graded crushed stone, 15 cm thick in foundation, brick work in CM 1:6 with sub class \"B\", old size bricks, rendering 15 mm thick in CM 1:6 on exposed surfaces and 100 mm thick PCC padding 1:3:6, type C-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate on top and grouting bolts etc for panel. |
| 18 | Cables and wires (confirm IEC-60227/ IS 694, IEC 60502-IS 1554) Standard)- (i) For the DC cabling, XLPEinsulated and sheathed, UV-stabilized single core flexible copper cables shall be used; Multi-core cables shall not be used.(ii) For the AC cabling, XLPE insulated and PVC sheathed single or, multi-core flexible Aluminium cables shall be used; Outdoor AC cables shall have a UV-stabilized outer sheath. (iii) The total voltage drop on the cable segments from the solar PV modules to the solar grid inverter shall not exceed 2.0% (iv)The total voltage drop on the cable segments from the solar grid inverter to the building distribution board shall not exceed 1%(v)All DC and AC cables from the SPV module and Inverter shall run through a Pre-Galvanized aluminium cable raceway of height not less than 40 mm and width not less than 50 mm.(vi) Cables and wires used for the interconnection of solar PV modules shall be provided with solar PV connectors (MC4) and couplers.(vii) All cable raceways shall be clamped to the rooftop, walls and ceilings with clamps at intervals not exceeding 50 cm |

| 32 | Note for Item Ser no 07 to 16:- (i) Minimum Performance ratio shall not be less than 80 % on quarterly basis according to the data obtained from SCADA (ii) The contractor shall submit SPV generation data along with the radiation data in Excel sheet format on quarterly basis . The module cleaning must be done on fortnightly basis as per direction of Engr-in-Charge.(iii) During defect liability period of two years after date of completion of work, contractor shall operate and maintain all five plants at various stations as stipulated and adequate training shall be given to MES staff for operation and maintenance. (iv) From 3rd to 10 th year contractor shall operate and maintain two plants only i.e. bathinda and faridkot and other plants shall be operated and maintained by the department. |
