| 122 | Carrying out Civil Engineering works like surveying & leveling, checking of formwork fabrication, reinforcement fabrication as per drawings, witnessing sample retrieval & testing for various construction materials, ensuring concrete ingredient ratio at batching plant and pouring of appropriate grade of concrete in plain and reinforced concrete works, ensuring proper mixing of approved ingredients & waterproofing admixtures for mortars and brickwork, plaster, flooring & waterproofing works, and other civil & PH works including supervision of construction safety as per BARC specifications & relevant documentation, compiling, binding and preparation of tender documents & Agreements overall as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (1)Each Job shall be carried out by one qualified Degree holder with 2 (Two ) years experience/Diploma holder with 5(Five) years experience (Licentiate in Civil/Construction Engineering / Technology) conducted by Board of Technical Examinations / University/ Autonomous Govt / Govt recognized Polytechnic/ Institute. (2)Deployment: The contractor shall deploy one Engineer for each job for minimum 26 working days per month for minimum 8 ½ hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) or on Round the clock shift including Saturdays, Sundays & holidays whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge during the contract period. In case of emergency works like continuous pouring of concrete or shutdown/maintainance work, the person will have to stay longer occasionally as per the instruction of the Engineer in-charge. No additional payment will be made on this account.(3) Period of work: The contractor shall carry out number of Jobs per month as per requirement at site for the period mentioned in NIT.(4) Mode of measurement : Measurement will be per job basis. A single job shall be carried out by deploying one engineer exclusively for the particular job.(5) Engineer should be engaged after scrutiny by EIC of CED, BARC and approved by Competent authority and the deployed Engineer will report to BARC Engineer/ EIC. (6) The minimum notice period before change of engineer is 1 (one) month; failing which a compensation, for not providing technical support, of Rs. 1,579/- per day of shortfall in notice period will be levied on the contractor. |
| 123 | Providing & supplying of Pick-up Van / Utility Van for various areas for the requirements arising from time to time inside and outside BARC. The Pick-up Van / Utility Van of minimum five seaters capacity with the back side provision for transporting/ shifting of various construction / maintenance materials, machinaries and tools etc. and for other works including Driver as assigned and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (8Hrs. a day or 60 km max as per certification of Engineer-in-Charge).Conditions:1. The above rates shall be inclusive of cost of supply of Pick-up Van / Utility Van, Fuel, wages of Drivers and other consumables etc. 2. The Reporting time at the place of duty / as instructed by EIC shall be considered for the billing / measurement / payment. 3. In case the pick up van is parked insideBARC premises then the reporting time of the driver to EIC shall be considered for the billing/ measurement/ payment. 4. Break Down Hours as per actuals and Lunch break (30 min.) timings shall not be considered for payment. 5. Fraction of hours shall be rounded off to nearest half an hour at the time of preparing the Running / final bills 6. BARC being a restricted place, the driver should have good credentials and shall have valid Police Verification / Clearance Certificate (PVC), driving license and address proof. They should be in a position to understand Hindi / English / local language. 7. The make and model of the vehicle should not be more than 8 years old, roadworthy with all valid documents. 8. The vehicle shall be maintained in good running condition with good upholstery, fitness, good tyres and shall commensurate with the image of BARC. The tyres of the vehicles shall be replaced periodically for safe and incident-free driving. 9. The vehicle should be free from all sorts of defects and will be subjected to inspection by a representative of BARC whose decision shall be final and binding as regards suitability of that particular vehicle. 10. The vehicle should be a transport vehicle and preferably in white colour with a board \"ON GOVERNMENT OF INDIA DUTY\". 11. The cost of POL, maintenance and servicing of Per Day2,600.00vehicle including replacement of parts, payment to the driver, Motor Vehicle taxes, comprehensive insurance, etc. shall be payable by the Contractor and BARC shall have no liability on these accounts. 12. The cost of damages to any Government movable/immovable property in and around the site shall be entirely borne by the Contractor. 13. The rates are inclusive of all taxes if any, excluding Goods & Service taxes (GST). 14. The contractor shall arrange adequate insurance coverage for his personnel. Department shall not be responsible for any liability arising out of any accident / injury caused to the driver while executing the job. 15. The contractor shall follow minimum wages act and other rules of Government of Maharashtra. 16. No revision of price shall be entertained during the period of contract. 17. Hours more / less than 8 Hrs. a day will be paid / deducted on pro-rata basis. 18. In case of absence of Driver/vehicle for entire week, a compensation ofRs. 3000 /- per week, for not providing the service, will be levied on the contractor for that week. |
| 124 | Cleaning of RCC Overhead tanksas per the following process:-1. Dewatering the tank with submersible pump or with suitable arrangements, de-silting and removal of left-over dirty water up to a depth of100 to 150 mm in the bottom. 2. The sludge shall be removed by special sludge pumps. Sludge Sucker should be a part of the High Pressure System which sucks the sludge and removes the same out of Tank.3. The walls and ceiling shall be cleaned with mechanized high pressure jet machines by rotary jet system at 100-150 Bar pressure (150 Kg /sq cm) which should dislodge the layer of dirt, algae, fungus stuck on its surface. 4. Scrubbing machines shall be used for old stains along with cleaning chemicals if required. 5. The floor of the dirty tank should be thoroughly cleaned up by jet cleaner to remove all the accumulated dirt and the remaining sludge should than be removed by sludge pumps.6. The dirt silt and other foreign material should further be removed by Industrial Vaccum Cleaners (having Max Power of 1200 W., with suitable heavy duty rugged Motor.. The equipment must handle solid particles as well to make the floor totally dirt free.7. Subsequently, Anti-Bacterial chemicals (NON TOXIC, BIO DEGRADABLE, ECO FRIENDLY) shall be sprayed/applied to ensure total sterilization of tank from the inside.8. Finally, the Inside of the tank should be treated with ultraviolet Radiator to eliminate further floating bacteria/virus in order to make the tank totally clean, bacteria free and safe for storage of drinking water.All the above operations should be executed by trained workers and technicians, properly dressed along with gum boots, to work as per the direction of Engineer in charge. All safety Gadgets like Safety Belts, Special Safety Ladder, Helmets, Heavy Duty Gum Boots, Electric Safety Gloves and Special Working Gloves, Safety Goggles, Masks, Aprons, ventilator fans shall be used for safety reasons. All works shall be carried out as per the directions of the EIC complete. (Note : 1. The quoted rate shall include the cost of obtaining water connections for cleaning, drain lines,storage and Cleaning equipments like Scrubbers/Wipers, Storage drums, Sludge Collectors and Cisterns, and all tools tackles and other equipment’s including safe & proper disposal of sludge and waste water.2.) Rate shall include cost of writing date of cleaning with paint using stencils after removing the old date(if any) by painting., all complete |
| 125 | Providing, supplying and fixing 98mm over all thick partition using stud partition which includes one layer of tapered edge 13mm thick (conforming to BS5234–1992, Part2) screw fixed with dry wall screws of 25mm at 300mm centres to either side of 70mm C stud (0.5mm thick having one flange of 34mm and another flange of 36mm made of GI steel) placed at 600mm centre to centre in 72mm floor and ceiling channel (0.5mm thick have equal flanges of 32mm made of GI steel), which is anchored to the floor & true ceiling using suitable anchor fasteners or metal screws with nylon plugs. The boards are to be fixed to the frame work with joints staggered to avoid leakage through joints.
