| 1 | Notes for all items of Schedule ‘A’ :-The quoted rates in this BOQ shall deemed to be inclusive of providing and removing steel pipe scaffolding upto 15 metre height from average ground level as per site requirement, all necessary tools, equipment, testing kit, etc required for all tests complete all as specified & directed. Contractor shall obtain approval from Engineer-in-Charge before commencing any work at site. The tenderer should visit site of work to ascertain the exact condition of site and quantum of work for all items mentioned in this Schedule and quote his rates accordingly. The tenderer(s) are advised to inspect and examine the site and its surroundings before quoting of this BOQ. The quoted rates in this BOQ shall deemed to be inclusive of all these factors. No extra payment consequent on any mistake or misunderstanding or otherwise on this account will be allowed. The tenderer shall be deemed to have inspected the site(s) and made themselves familiar with the site & working conditions, whether they have actually inspected the site(s) or not. |
| 2 | Mobilization and demobilization of Tools/ equipment and personnel required to execute the jobs as per specification (To & Fro) for the execution of other items of this Schedule. |
| 3 | VISUAL INSPECTION : Detailed physical inspection of all structural members for their conditions as to the distress, deterioration, deformation, connection, alteration and various other damages and defects in all buildings/ structures listed in Schedule ‘A’ Note No. 33.2 and submit the report in 04 Sets in the format provided & approved by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 4 | Conducting Non-Destructive Test by rebound Hammer as per IS : 13311 Part-2 1992, which rebound members converted into compressive strength, unit rate consist of average of six readings. |
| 5 | Conducting Non-Destructive Test of concrete by ultrasonic pulse Velocity instrument as per IS 516 (Part 5 /Section -1) 2018 using 54 KHz/ 25 KHz transducers. Submitting proper analytical report according to codal provision. |
| 6 | Conducting Non-Destructive Test of concrete by Half Cell Electrical potential instrument, MECO make as per ASTM C876-91, to assess the durability of reinforced concrete members. Where reinforcement corrosion if suspected and investigation concrete containment by chemical attack. Submitting proper analytical and graphical report with contour showing areas proneto corrosion risk according to codal provision. |
| 7 | Extracting concrete through HILTI type coring machine with required diameter as per IS:516 (Part-4), ASTM C42M- 99, SP:24 & BS:1881 Part -120, having facility to take core at any required angle. Core shall be taken such that reinforcement shall not cut while taking samples. |
| 8 | Conducting Carbonation test by drilling of hole in RCC or from broken samples of concrete as per relevant IS Code. |
| 9 | CHEMICALS ANALYSIS OF CONCRETE: Conducting tests like pH, SO3 & Chloride content in hardened concrete specimen as per BS 1881 Part 124. |
| 10 | Conducting Non destructive test for locating reinforcement bar cover using rebar detection system. |
| 11 | Submission of Analysis Report: A formal report in 04 Sets shall be submitted on the:-(i) Tests carried out,(ii) Methodology followed,(iii) Result Obtained and,(iv) The interpretation of these results.Based on the interpretation of the results the corrective action required alongwith the detailed step of the methodology of the repair work to be done including technical and material specification shall be suggested (excluding BoQ). |
| 12 | Taking down cement plaster in patches and scattered places not exceeding 30cm x 30cm up to clean visible surface of concrete complete all as specified & as directed. |
| 13 | M&L for rendering 20mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 in patches not exceeding 30cm x 30cmon concrete surfaces and finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified & as directed. |
| 14 | M&L for Cutting holes into or through reinforced cement concrete slabs, column, beams, chajjas, etc. of superficial area not exceeding 100 Sqcm complete all as specified & directed. |
| 15 | M&L for making good core cutting holes by micro concreting including formwork complete all as specified & as directed. |
