| 1 | NOTES/INSTRUCTIONS FOR STRICT COMPLIANCE(a)The contractor shall obtain sample approval for all materials for incorporating in the work as per condition 10 of IAFW-2249 and Para-12 of Special Conditions of tender document mentioned here-in-after.(b) The GE may direct the contractor in writing to procure and deposit up to 80% of the material required for the complete scope of work. The decision shall be final and binding on the contractor.(c) The contractor shall deposit the procured material under intimation to GE to the store of concerned subdivision within 30 days from the receipt of written direction. Failure to do so shall result in a penal recovery of Rs 2000/- per week, levied on the dues of contractor, maximum up to 10% of the work done/CA Amount whichever is higher.(d) The contractor shall obtain approval of “Qualified Tradesman” as per condition 26 of IAFW-2249 before commencement of work at site and shall have sufficient manpower such as plumber, welder, helper etc readily available to meet the site requirement during emergency situation as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge/GE.(e) The quoted rates shall be inclusive of cost of necessary Tools, Plants, Safety Equipments, Machinery, Arrangements of Manual Dewatering/Dewatering pumps and Temporary lighting arrangements for work during night time etc as per site requirement.(f) The quoted rates shall be inclusive of cost for necessary scaffolding for working under AoR of GE (U-II). |
| 2 | Material and Labour for servicing of DG set of capacity 625 KVA of existing Make and model by carrying out the following maintenance as per manufacturers instructions including cleaning the engine, alternator, inferiors and exteriors of acoustic enclosure completely by blowering and with cotton waste and testing on completion at connected load for entire satisfaction, complete all as specified and directed:-(a) Draining out engine oil from the sump by removing drain plug, cleaningthe sump thoroughly and refilling the sump with new engine oil to required level. (Note: Engine Oil will be measured and paid separately as \"Supply Only\")(b) Draining out of diesel from tank and storing in cleaned containers, cleaningthe tank thoroughly by removing sediments settled at the bottom and refilling the drained out diesel duly filtered.(c) Supply and replace complete set of engine oil filters, fuel filters, Bypass filter, air cleaner element and water separator.(d) Draining out complete coolant water mixture from the radiator and re-filling the radiator with new coolant and water mixture with proportionate ratio.(Note: Coolant will be measured and paid separately as \"Supply Only\")(e) Check and top up the electrolyte/distilled water in starting batteries to maintain the required specific gravity. Cleaning of battery terminals & applying petroleum jelly to battery poles & brass connectors.(f) Checking and Tightening all the fasteners of complete DG set to the required torque, if required. |
