The job also includes cleaning of the electro-mechanical equipments installed inside the room using labour with the help of required tools, cloths/dhotis, etc. The complete job includes the cost of labour charges and hire charges of tools and tackles required for execution at site.The job further includes disengaging the damaged HC split casing pumping units I & II (2 cusecs discharge, 40 m head) from the suction and delivery sides, and decoupling the pumps from their respective 50 HP motors by opening the fasteners/nuts and bolts of the coupling with suitable tools and tackles. Rusted nuts and bolts shall be cut with the help of grinder/welding/other suitable tools and tackles. Thereafter, the pumping units shall be dismounted from the base frame/foundation block. Similarly, the 50 HP motors of pumping units I & II shall be dismounted from the base frame/foundation block by cutting/opening the rusted nuts/bolts with grinder/welding. The job also includes extracting out the base frames of pumping units I & II from the concrete foundations by breaking it with suitable tools & tackles.The job also includes disengaging/dismounting the damaged 100 KVA voltage stabilizer, damaged LT Panel (200 A), and damaged ATS starters of 50 HP motors (for pumping units I & II) by removing electrical connections from incoming and outgoing sides using suitable tools and tackles.The work further includes dismantling/dismounting of the priming pump unit by disengaging it from its suction and delivery lines, and dismantling the 200 mm dia suction lines of pumping units I & II and the suction pipe of the priming unit. This involves removal of silt/debris near the foot valves, disassembling the suction pipes by unfastening the flange bolts, and cutting rusted nuts and bolts (if any) using grinder/welding. The foot valves shall be disengaged similarly and then lifted/extracted from the river/sump by engaging manual labour & other suitable tools & tackles such as chain pulley block of suitable capacity.The job also includes dismantling the 150 mm dia delivery lines of pumping units I & II and the delivery pipe of the priming unit by unfastening the flange bolts, cutting rusted nuts and bolts (if any) with grinder/welding, and cutting welded joints (if any). The sluice valves and non-return valves (NRVs) shall be disengaged from the delivery pipes by the same method.Shifting of extracted damaged Electro-mechanical equipments: These dismantled/extracted damaged electro-mechanical equipments (HC split casing pumps along with their base frames (02 nos.), 50 HP motors(02 nos.),coupling (02 nos.), LT Panel (200 A) (01 no.), 100 KVA stabilizer(01 no.) , ATS starters of 50 HP motors (02 nos.), 2 HP priming pump unit (01 no.), suction pipes (200 mm dia), delivery pipes (150 mm dia), foot valves (02 nos.), sluice valves (02 nos.), NRVs (02 nos.)) shall then be shifted from LIS Plal to the roadside (approx. 80 m) on head load (hilly terrain / steep path) by engaging manual labour & tools/tackles, than loaded into mechanical transport using JCB/hydra/manual labour. Thereafter:• The 2 HP priming pump unit (01no.), suction & delivery pipes, foot valves (01 no.), sluice valves (01 no.), and NRVs (01 no.), 100 KVA stabilizer – (1 no.), shall be shifted to the nearest safe site/stacking site (approx. 5 km) by unloading at the roadside and then carrying on head load than stacking at the safe site. Later onthe same may be shifted to the workshop for their repair/reconditioning.• The other damaged equipments(HC split casing pump(along with base frame) – (1 no.), 50 HP motor – (1 no.), main LT Panel (200 A) – (1 no.), ATS starters for 50 HP motors – (2nos.), foot valve (01 no.), sluice valves (01 no.), and NRVs (01 no.),shall be shifted to the Divisional Store, Jammu (approx. 90 km) by mechanical transport,unloaded by mechanical means /manual labour, then carrying /shifting on head load by engaging manual labour/tools & tackles and stacking of same in the MID divisional store, Jammu.The job includes the cost of mechanical transportation, loading/unloading, head load, hiring of crane/JCB, hiring of grinder/welding machine, hiring & carriage of generator set (including its POL), labour charges (skilled and unskilled), tools, and tackles, etc. Complete job. |

Taking out rotating assembly and proper cleansing to remove silt / dust material and Replacement of old bearings by way of P/F new bearings of required sizes. Repairs to impeller by filling cavities, cracks and finishing to original size. Minor repairs to pump shaft by way of brazing, turning and finishing to bearing size and turning of threads on shaft as per size and pitch of threading on check nut, P/F of gland packing of required size in the pump, P/F of oil seals of required dimensions in the bearing housing of pump. P/F of new gland plate of required size. Completely cleaning of bearing housing to remove dust and metal residue. Re-assembling after carrying out necessary repairs by assembling all parts of pump with proper greasing and filling of pump bearing housing with fresh M-oil up to the required level.
