| 9 | (D) AIR TREATMENT SYSTEM : Comprising of the following:-(i) Double skin construction air handling unitsuitable for chilled water system made out of extruded aluminium structural frame /aluminium corners and intermediate connecting pieces and panels of galvanised steel sheet of appropriate thickness as recommended by OEM on both sides with 25mm thick pressure injected PUF of appropriate density using CFC free blowing agent, the panelshaving scratch free plastisol coating on outer side. The fan section should be mounted on anti vibration spring isolators and free from main structure. The fan should be back ward curved centrifugal fan with air discharge up blast, belt driven with TEFC induction motor of suitable capacity. The coil section consist of 6 row deep coil with min 12 fins/inch duly coated. The filter section consist of prefilter with 5 micron 90% efficiency. The other accessories are view port, limit switch, stainless steel (SS3) drain pan, volume control damper with Energy Efficient Motor (EE Series)of suitable capacity and specified makes, AHU shall be provided with UVC emitters & fixtures in sufficient quantity so as to provide equal distribution of UVC energy on the coil and in the drain pan all as specified or as recommended by OEM. (ii) Dehumidification achieved by providing heating by hot water coills with necessary copper conductor wiring complete of required capacity.(iii) Pan type humidifier comprising of stainless steel tank and pan necessary heater, wiring, water piping GI pipe medium grade 15mm boreincluding float valve and brass stop cock in inlet pipe. (iv) Humidistats and thermostats are to be provided in AHU room(v) Three way mixingvalve of required size with motorised actuator and modulating thermostat controlfor AHU. |
| 10 | (vi) Accoustic Insulation with 25mm thick fibre glass rigid boards and finished with RP tissue paper and 28 mm gauge aluminium perforated sheetupto 5 m from outlet ofthe air plenum including air plenum for all AHUs all as specified and directed. (vii) Under deck insulation forAHU rooms shall be provided with Fire retardant XPE closed cell of appropriatethickness as recommended by OEM metalised polyester film and self adhesive backings with protection peel off paper.(viii) Fresh air damper with GI bowl/ fittings and mosquito proof netting shall be provided for AHU.(E) AIR DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM:- Comprising of the following:-(i) Supply and return air ducting made out of commercial grade GI sheet Zinc coating 120 grade, IS : 277 and factory fabricated as per SMACNA - 1995 standards and as per IS-655, required portion of duct shall be acoustically insulated with standard size of AC sheets, insulated with 25 mm thick resin bonded fibre glass wool of density 24 Kg /cum covered with factory laminated aluminium foil fixed with adhesive tape & finally cladded with 26 SWG aluminium sheet &supported by internal channel & clamping, wherever the ducting passes through un-conditioned space shall be insulated with 75 mm thick resin bonded fibre glass wool of density 24 Kg /cum and covered with GI chicken wire mesh and cladded with aluminium foil fixed with adhesive tape and finally cladded with 26 SWG aluminium sheet &supported by internal channel & clamping, wherever the ducting is exposed to sky shall be insulated with 75 mm thickresin bonded fibre glass wool of density 24 Kg /cum covered with polythene sheet faced hessian cloth, GI chicken wire mesh and cladded with sand cement plaster and supported by MS channel & clamps complete in all respect. |

(ac) One electronic energy meter 3 phase 415V of suitable capacity at main incoming.(ad) Multifunction meter digital type 0 to 500A to measure voltage, current, frequency, power factor, KWH, etc., with all connected CTs and selector switch at main incoming.(ae) Ammeter digital type 0 to 100 A with suitable capacity and selector switch with CT and selector switch for each phase for cooling tower motors, condenser & chilled water pump sets and for chiller units.(af) LED lamps for Phase indicationand running status of all motors, rubber mat 12mm thick for full length of panel. |

Ammeter digital type withCTs of suitable capacity and selector switch, LED Phase indication lamps, Starters with suitable rating/size, contactors, relay SPP and glow type push button switches for AHU blower motors, heater bank and dehumidifier etc, with all interlocking electric connections. Note: The tendered shall submit the appropriate drawings of the panels to GE for his approval.(iii) Cabling : Necessary cable connection from main electrical panel to AHU, chilled machines, Pump sets etc, i.e. for all the equipment in AC plant room and AHU motor, shall be with unarmored copper conductors cables.The cables shall be laid in masonry trenches or overhead on cable trays on suitable supports and in trenches/ under paths/ under road with suitable size GI light grade pipes etc., laid as per laid down guide line of SSR Part -I shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.The department will provide only power supply source for taking the connection to the panel board in plant room. |
| 13 | (iv) Control Wiring: Refrigeration control wiring with FRLS copper conductor, PVC insulated, unsheathed, multistranded, 1100V grade, singlecore of size 1.5 sqmm drawn in and including PVC conduit of suitable size for interlocking arrangement as per standard practice with thermostat, humidistat, balancing valve, blowermotor, pumps, starter etc. all as directed shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate.(v) Earthing:Earthing of electric equipments with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below normal ground level, connecting to and including GI strip 32x6 mm (up to the body of the equipment) by means of two GI bolts/nuts/washers.Earth plate shall be surrounded by packed layers of charcoal dust and common salt 15cm thick all around bottom and top and watering pipe 20mm dia projected 30cm above the GL with one socket and removable GI plug on top, 2.25 m light grade perforated galvanised steel top with socket and plug and bottom connected to earth plate by slit and two bolts/nuts/washers. Earth strip shall be protected by 40mm bore GI light grade pipe to test point/equipment.The earth strip shall be tested after carefully completion as per IS specifications- Required as per IS at site for all equipments, LT panels and accessories of AC Plant.Note:Earth work, GI pipe as required is deemed to be included in the unit rate. |
| 14 | (G) Civil Work:- Comprising of Masonry foundation for chilling units, pumping sets, cooling tower and make up water tank and AHUs etc, by making opening in the brick wall and making good for ducts, pipes, cables and fresh air intake complete all as directed. The AC plant system is being installed in existing building which is being used for operation. It involves a lot of alteration/ modification in the building. All these modification will be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. The tenderer is advised to visit the site prior to quote the rate. The tendered will submit a detailed structural drawings for necessary support structure for supporting the duct from AC plant room to the building for the approval of Accepting Officer. The cost of this support structure is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.Notes:1.All Civil works required to install, test and commissioning the equipment like excavation, foundation for equipment, necessary cable ducts with MS covers 10mm thick duly painted, excavation for laying pipe etc & making good all disturbed/broken surfaces. and finishing patch work to match existing surface including fixing the ducting etc, shall be deemed to be included in the above offer.2. Necessary water supply GI pipe connections of suitable size including control valves for the Cooling towers / Expansion tank and A/C plant from existing water supply connection is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.3. Suitable provision to connect condensate outlets from AHUs fan coil units to main drainage through HDPE/PVC / GI pipes shall deemed to be included in the rate quoted.4. All three phase motors shall be provided independent single phasing preventer with phase reversal and over load protection including with electronic interlocking by various cut out pressure switches and connections. |

Size of earth, continuity conductor shall be GI strip 32x6mm for all motors above 50HP GI strip of 25x4mm for all motors from 25 HP to 50HP and 4SWG GI wire for motors up to 25 HP and all equipments and LT panels of AC plant.6. All loads up to 63A shall be controlled by MCB & with MCCB for loads above 63A.7. Manufacturers, Technical back up after sales service support shall be provided for chiller package.8. Suitable supports for holding the ducts and pipes will be provided by tenderer as specified and directed and shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.9. Control wiring with copper conductor cables shall deemed to be included.10. Air filters shall be of 5.0 microns in plenum and 10 microns for AHU pre filter. 11. Velocity of air in supply air duct shall not exceed 450 m/min (1500 FPM) and velocity at diffuser outlet shall not exceed 150 m/min (500 FPM)12. Any work not included in the above details but is an in escapable technical requirement for the efficient performance and smooth functioning of the plant shall be clearly specified and included in the technical offer.13. COP shall not be less than 4.714. The design conditions as specified in the tender shall be achieved within maximum 120 minutes time.15. 3/6 core flat copper conductor of suitable size for compressor motors, cooling tower motor, chiller motor condenser motor and AHU motors etc shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.16. Minimum one chiller shall be tested at 100 % load on ARI test bed at manufacturer’s premises to verify the actual capacity & power consumption of the chiller machines. The test report/ certificates to be submitted to GE before despatch from manufacturer\"s premises. |
| 16 | 17. Perforated GI sheet cable tray 100mm width fixed on angle iron supports grouted in wall for carrying all cables shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.18. Initial charging of oil and refrigerant shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.19. Under deck insulation in AHU rooms is also deemed to be inclusive of quoted rate by the tenderer.20. The complete plant is to be installed, tested and commissionedonlyby the skilled engineer of the original Manufacturer of the chiller-packages. Necessary confirmationis to be submitted by the contractor after completion of the work with test certificates before dept undertakes further testings as per tender and cost is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.21. The capacity mentioned for AC plant is tentative, actual capacity should be workout by the contractor based on inside and outside environment conditions to attain desired conditions throughout the year. 22. Contractor should submit Design folder duly incorporating complete design, heat load calculations as per ASHRAE standards, layout plans andspecifications and make/brand as per zonal specifications of equipment including BoQ duly bound 3 hard copies and soft copy in 2 Nos CDs duly vetting from IIT/NIT for approval of Accepting Officer before execution. |

| 25 | Note for Serial Item Nos. 4 & 5: The quoted rates shall be deemed to include the following:-(a) Periodical , Preventive and breakdown maintenance of all the equipment as per OEM recommendations.(b) To take care of housekeeping, cleanliness pf plant room and outside area up to 20m all around installation shall be kept absolutely neat and clean.(c)To maintain all installations provided under this contract as per IE Rules/ Standard Engineering Practice and maintenance of Installation Log Books and Maintenance Register.(d)Cost of consumable stores such as grease, Lubricants, Cotton waste, refrigerant gas filling for leakages(including cost of gas) and other connected stores etc required for daily operation and routine maintenance.(e) The staff employed shall be having proper uniform as approved by GE.(f)The contractorshall arrange dry/wet bulb thermometer at AHU room and Air conditioned area for recording room temeperatute.(g) Periodical cleaning cooling tower and AHU, filters, tanks shall be the responsibility of contractor.(h) The contractor is totally responsible for complete AC plant maintenance during the defects liablity period and the quoted rate inclusive of M&L required for repairs/replacements of all the plant items/spares/consumables/ expendable during Periodical, Preventive and breakdown maintenance by the contractor as recommended by the OEM. |

| 28 | Outsourcing of Services for operation of central AC plant of 3x60 TR, water cooled (2 Nos running & 01 No standby) as provided under this contract as per BOQ for first year after successful completion of defect liability period, i.e. first year after completion of defect liability period complete including cooling tower, AHUs, electrical control panels, and pumps and connected equipment in complete AC system, round the clock in 3 shifts of 08 hours each to ensure smooth and trouble free operation of plants to the entire satisfaction of users / department by providing services of one skilled technician for AC & Refrigeration (ITI Qualified with 2 to 3 years relevant experience) in each shift of 08 hours complete all as specified and as directed at Magazine No.11 and Magazine No 12Note for Serial Item No. 6.01 & 6.02: The quoted rates shall be deemed to include the followings:-(a)To take care of housekeeping, cleanliness of plant room and outside Area up to 20 m all around instrallation shall be kept absolutely neat and clean.(b)Maintenance of installation Log Books.(c)The staff employed shall be having proper uniform as approved by GE. |
