Using TMT bars of Fe-500D/550D grade of all sizes .TMT bars to be supplied by the contractor shall conform to IS – 1786(Latest edition) and BARC specificationNote: 1) The contractor shall supply documentary evidence of purchase of steel, Test certificate from approved manufacturers and also testing third party from approved laboratories without any extra cost.2) Binding wire required for the work will have to be supplied by the contractor at their own cost and will not be measured for payment.3) Cover blocks shall be of same grade of concrete. |

| 7 | Forming vertical piles by boring through fill and all kinds of soils including hard murrum with gravel and chiselling through occassional boulders and soft / weathered / hard rock by continuous mud circulation technique by Bailer boring / Rotary Drilling method as specified, including conducting Standard Penetrationtest all as instructed by Engineer In Charge, carting away the bored excavated soil upto a lead of 600 M,fixing reinforcement as per drawing, casting the piles with Specifiedgrade concrete by tremie only, using graded stone aggregates of maximum size 20 mm, ordinary portland cement and with water cement ratio including the water contained in the aggregates not exceeding 0.40 etc. all as specified. The Rate includes concreting a minimum of 600 mm above specified cut-off levels (actual cutoff may vary depending upon site condition), cutting/breakingof piles from concrete top upto cut-off level specified including cost of all materials, admixtures, (Naphthalene/Melamine based or approvedsuper plasticisers), if used with the prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge. Including transporting, mobilisation, erection, commissioningall necessary plant, equipment, Concreting of pile including cost of RMC, piling / boring rigs or rotary piling equipment and removal of same after completion, but including boring with bentonite solution and temporary casing for appropriate length for setting outand removal of same , excavation, de-wateringby pumps or well points, and also for cut-off chipping, forming/finishing pile top at cut-off level all as required etc. excluding cost of Steel Reinforcement complete and as required & directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : 1. The minimum cement content for RCC works should be as per the latest revision of the relevant IS code. 2. Cost of RMC shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. |
