| 6 | RACK RIFLE FOR 20 RIFLES (CE(R&D)/DLI/TPD/44/07)DIMENSION: (a) Overall size shall be 1500x710x1385 MM. DESCRIPTION: (b) The Rack Rifles for 20 Rifles shall be constructed from high-quality first-class teakwood, known for its durability, strength, and aesthetic appeal. (c) The frame structure shall be made using teakwood of minimum 25mm thickness, carefully selected and seasoned to prevent warping and cracking. (d) The design shall consist of vertical and horizontal teakwood rails, joined securely with dovetail joints or mortise-and-tenon joints for enhanced stability and strength. (e) The rifle holding slots shall be crafted to fit and secure up to 10 rifles, with each slot having a width of 80mm (adjustable as required) to provide a snug fit for the rifles. (f) Each slot shall be lined with a soft, non-abrasive cushioning material (such as felt or foam) to protect the rifles from scratches and damage. (g) The padding shall be covered with a durable fabric or leather material, ensuring long-lasting protection. (h) The back panel shall be made of solid teakwood, designed with ventilation slats or perforations to allow air circulation, preventing moisture build-up that could lead to rusting. (i) The back panel shall be securely fixed to the frame using concealed teakwood screws for a neat appearance. (j) The top and bottom of the rack shall be reinforced with teakwood crossbars for additional support and strength. (l) The door shall be fitted with a brass lock and two keys for security, and the hinges shall be made of high-quality brass or stainless steel to ensure smooth operation. (t) All exposed surfaces of the wood shall be sanded smooth and free of any blemishes before the application of the lacquer. (u) The brass lock, hinges, and other hardware shall be polished to a high shine, complementing the rich color of the teakwood. | 7 | SIDE BOARD (FD-241)All as shown on drawing. Overall size shall be 1220 mm long, 455 mm ide nd 760 mm high. All wood shall be of first class hard wood Teak (MP). Legs shall be 125 mmhigh and 45 mmx45 mm in section upto 45 mm from top of legs tapering uniformily up to bottom which shall be 25 mm x 25 mmin section. Legs shall be joined together be 25 mmx 45 mm stiffeners provided flushing top of legs in short as well as long sides. The top body of Sie Board shall project 100 mm frominside of short stiffeners in long direction and 75 mm from inside of long stifferners in short direction irrespective what is shown on drawing. Four drawers shall be provided in the right hand side of Side Board with in 385 mm spcae. Left hand side shall have one shelf and two side hung shutters. Sides nd back of drawers shall be of 12 mmthick particle oard having commercial ply on both sides. Bottom of drawers shall be of 6 mm thick plywood commercial. The drawers shall run on 19 mm x 19 mm teak wood bearers. The top drawer s shall have 19 mmthick teak veneer one face particle board. The shelf on left hand side shall be of 19 mm thick particle board of commericl ply on both sides fitted on 19mmx19mm section teak wood bearers. Bottom, sides, vertical partitions shall be of 19 mm thick particle board shall be of 19 mm othick commercial particle board over which 1.5 mm thick plastic laminated sheet is fixed with natral teak face. Back of side board shall be of 6 mm thick commercial plywood. The shutters shall have 50 mm long flush bolt fitted towards inside of shutter. Two knonbs shall be provided to the shutter. A brass lock with four lever shall be provided to shutter. Fourknobs shall be provided to the four drawers (one knob for each drawer). 3mmx19mm teak wood edging shall be provided to all edges of particle board and shelf. All wood and particle board surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be Melamyne polished with high gloss finish. |
