| 1 | Maintenance of lawns, hedges, shrubs and other plant components by watering, hoeing, weeding on day to day basis, application of vermicompost, organic fertilizer & pesticides and mowing of lawn at regular intervals at various locations including trimming the hedges using shears around the lawn area every month and sweeping dried leaves over the lawn falling from the standing trees at siteand also other garden related works as directed by Officer-in-charge. The rate includes of ESI and PF for employees as per government rules. (Cost of organic pesticides will be paid separately, Vermicompost supplied by IITM at free of cost,cost for lawn mower, other T & P material/articles shall be provided by the contractor). The work needs to be carried out in 42 locations as attachedin Annexure. |
| 2 | Maintenance of entire play field lawns of Manohar C Watsa Stadium, Football ground & Hockey ground including hoeing, weeding, gap filling, operating & watering through sprinkler system at Manohar C wasta stadium and with rain gun at Foot ball ground, mowing of lawn, grass cutting by lawn mower, removal of garden waste, applying organic insect ide, pesticide & fertilizers (whenever required),maintenance of other related works as directed by office-in-charge. The rate includes of ESI and PF for employees as per government rules. (Cost of vermicopost, organic fertilizers & pesticides will be paid separately and cost for lawn mover, other T & P material/ articles shall be provided by the contractor). The work needs to be carried out in 3 locations as attached in Tender Schedule |
| 3 | Towards labour charges (2 NOS OF UNSKILLED LABOURS) for maintenance of nurseries opposite to K.V school & inside the Admin buildings. The nature of work includes watering, weeding of potted plants, propagation of available nursery plants, Re-potting of plants, and display of plants for workshops / Seminars / Conferences / Convocation conducted in the Institute. The necessary vehicle for transportation of plants will be provided by the Institute as directed by the Officer-in-charge. The rate includes of ESI and PF for employees as per government rules. (The necessary earthen pots will be supplied by IITM.) |

| 5 | Supplying of Azadirachtin 1% (10000 ppm) EC Neemazal T/S or equivalent. |
| 6 | Fabricating and supplying 1.53m height tree guard with weld mesh of 50mm x 50mm size 2.5 thick 60cm dia and 1.53 height weld mesh welded to 25x4mm MS flat stiffener rings @ top, bottom and middle at equal intervals including 30 nos of Vertical at 1.53m height with necessary cleats (8 nos) for tying including cutting, bending, welding and finished with one coat of approved make Zinc chromate yellow primer and top finished with two coats of first quality synthetic enamel paint, complete as per drawings enclosed, cost including material, labour and delivery at site. The tree guard will be fixed in the ground with leg of 300mm length by using 25x4 mm MS \"L\" angle. ( The sample tree guard can be inspected @ Horticulture section). |

| 8 | Cleaning of drain & storm water drain cleaning at IIT Madras campus |
| 9 | Labour charges towards cleaning of dry leavess and fallen tree branches, etc., for free flow of runoff through storm water drain and culverts inside IITM campus. The approximate length of storm water drain is around 15000 Rm and average width is around 1.5m. The dry leavess removed shall be disposed off into the forest area upto 100m lead and minimum 5m away from the storm water drain. It should not be stacked near to the building, road and other service facilities. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of all tools & tackles and Personnel protective equipmets, etc. |
| 10 | Charges towards desilting of storm water channel by necessary earthwork and disposal of collected silt/earth inside the campus using lorry/truck as directed by Engineer-in-charge. The payment will be made based on actual volume of silt/earth disposed and 20% voids will be deducted from actual measurement. |
| 11 | Labour charges towards cleaning of storm water canal from IITM boundary to TIDEL park Buckingham canal and disposal of garbage to outside the campus. Cleaning shall be done from outside of canal without entering into canal. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of labour, tools & tackles andPersonnel protective equipment, etc., complete. |

| 13 | Labour charges towards engaging additional manpower during rainy days to remove floating dry leaves which are blocking culverts and channels. The payment will be made as per actual engagement of labour. The work shall be carriedout during day/night as instructed by Engineer-in-charge. |
| 14 | Charges towards intercartingdry leaves all main roads and sub road sides in IITM campus. The rate is inclusive of labour charge for loading, transporting with in 2km lead,unloading and spreading of dry leavesat the location specified byEngineer in- charge. The minimum capacity of truck shall be 75 cft. |
| 15 | Note: A. The horticulture work shall be carried out as per the terms and conditions stipulated in the eligibility documents, financial bids, minutes of the pre-bid meeting, corrigendum, etc. The quoted rate shall be inclusive of GST, all labour charges, materials, equipment charges, PF, and ESI or medical health insurance (minimum coverage of Rs. 5.00 lakhs family floater, preferably under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) or equivalent schemes, if not covered under ESI), transportation charges, overheads, etc.B. The minimum wages shall be as prescribed by the Central or State Government (whichever is higher), and as per the orders issued by the Central Labour Commissioner, Government of India, for the relevant category. The minimum wages for the workers shall be fixed under Area - A, applicable to both the IITM Main Campus and the IITM Discovery CampusC.Gratuity to be paid as per the new Labour Codes as published by the Government of India, and the same will be reimbursed as per actualsus |
