| 7 | Providing & applying Rising damp-proof coating system with Single component ready to use damp-proof coating Roff Hydamp :1.SURFACE PREPARATION: Thoroughly brush and clean all laitance, loose particles such as dirt, grease, mortar droppings, release agents, efflorescence, bird droppings, etc. All large voids or hollow portions must be removed and re-plastered. Non- moving cracks having width upto 5 mm must be filled with Polymer based crack filler.2 APPLICATION: Apply the first coat of Dr Fixit Dampguard Classic with a paintbrush directly on the prepared surfaces by mixing ( 1 part base:1 part hardner: 1 part of water) . Allow to dry for a minimum 2-3 hrs. Apply one part of DAMPGUARD mixed chemical and 2 parts of OPC white cement/Birla Putty and make the Putty, apply Putty on the entire surface area. Allow it to dry for at least 3-4 hours. Apply the Final coat of Dr Fixit Dampguard Classic on the entire surface and allow the surface to air cure 48 Hrs proceeds to paint. |
