M&L for repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud and water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etccutting around all edges to at least 25mm in depth and making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering, well ramming and applying tack coat of bituminous primer (grade VG-10) @ 5 Kg per 10 sqm putting in and providing bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete (design Mix) not exc. 30mm complete all as specified and directed.(NOTE : Quantity of the Bitumen shall be provided as per design mix approved by GE)

M&L for preparing of black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked muds etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat using paving bituminous primer (grade VG-10) at 2.5 Kg per 10 Sqm and providing bituminous premix asphaltic semi-dense concrete using paving bitumen (VG-30 grade), 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) using binder content @ Minimum 5% by weight of total mix (Job mix) using mechanical paver, rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and compacted to required camber and gradient to an uniform smooth surfaces complete all as specification and as directed.(NOTE : (i)Mixing of SDAC shall be carried out in Hot Mix plant & laying of SDAC shall be carried out uniformly by using automatic type sensor paver.(ii)The Design Mix of SDAC considering bitumen content as specified shall be carried out by contractor from any one of the institution as specified in particulars specification & cost thereof shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate. The quantity of bitumen shall be provided as per design mix approved by GE.)

M&L for preparationg of New/Old Road surfaces and applying thermoplastic reflective paint for marking of 2.5mm thick as in centre line and edge line, zebra crossing, stop lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc road marking of 150/100mm width using \"Hot Application\" of white/golden yellow as approved colour/ shade by indigenous modern propelled road marking machine as directed including all ingrediants such as blinder, glass beads, Pigments such as Titanium dioxide, Calcium Carbonate inter filler, thermoplastic requirement for glass beads shall conforming to \"MORTH\" specification (BS 3262-1989) as per manufacturer\"s instructions including spraying of glass beads etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
