RMU should be provided with internal busbars, as well as earthing busbars of electrolytic grade copper, padlock provisions & complete with all accessories. The complete RMU must be type tested for Internal arc21 KA for 1 sec with AFLR Classification for Gas tank & Cable Chamber as per IEC 62271-200. HT RMU shall preferably have on-site-repairability features such as site replaceable bushing/ coupling/ mechanism and gas refilling to have very less downtime in the event of bushing breakage and restoration can be done at site immediately without sending the RMU to OEM Works, the Vaccum Interrupter must RMU manufacturer\"s own make. The earthing busbar shall be provided inside each cable compartment for solid earthing of cable shields. The outer hinged main door should cover entire front of switchgear including cable doors for providing fail-safe protection complete all as specified and as directed.
