Note :- All material/spares parts required for carrying out above maintenance/servicing shall be measured and paid separately as \"Supply only\" items as mentioned below and shall be of make- as available at site\"as per make of DG set and labour element required for replacing the spares parts including replacement of minor spare parts which are essential for carrying out servicing/maintenance of DG sets shall deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate by the tenderer against item No.1(i)Any minor parts such as screws, washers, split pin , circlip etc shall be supplied by the firm, rate for the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate.(ii) The Job shall be carried out after every four hundred hrs run of DG Set andshall be measured and paid separately(iii) The Item Include Servicing and cleaning of radiator and taking down fuel tank and cleaning and removing of scale and sludge. |

| 23 | Dismantling and taking down alternator assembly from existing engine and transporting to workshop and carry out servicing / maintenance of alternator unit of capacity DG Set of Cap more than 20 KVA but not more than 82.5 KVA set per the phase work :- (a) Opening of Alternator and cleaning / removing dust from armature and field coil. (b) Cleaning of used / old lubricated substances drive/non drive end bearings. (c)Cleaning end checking of AVR unit (d) Checking and tightening of coupling bolts and replacement of rubber inserts.(e) M&L for carrying out heat varnishing for field and armature coil and kept in heating chamber for 48 hours for drying properly.(f)Replacement of Bearings as per existing size.(g) Reassembling complete unit and carrying out testing at workshop and transportation to installation and coupling with DG Set including necessary alignment, cable connections completeall as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (h) The quoted rates shall deemed to be included cost of transportation to and from station to authorized service centre and back. |

(ii) The quoted rates against the item shall deem to include for fixing and replacing of the serviceable parts in position and replacement of unserviceable parts with new parts, such as nuts, bolts, washers, locking nuts,’O’ rings, nozzle, plunger, barrel, governor plunger, pressure regulator, weight carrier assembly, spring pack assembly,gear pump repair kit etc.New spare parts deemed to be included in the quoted rates. The work shall be executed on ground on required basis but being remote station and extreme weather condition contractor must keep all essential spares ready as directed byEngineer to rectify the breakdown of DG Set.Contractor shall deploy sufficient resources to keep smooth working of DG Set in the AF station.In addition any breakdown shall be communicated to contractor or his representative by concerned Engineer-in-charge/JE E/M through phone call, text message, complaint slip and or in writing through site order book or through other means. Non complying of attending breakdown by contractor within 24 hours after notify the complaint, recovery @ Rs 2000/- per day shall be recovered from contractor\"s payment for each breakdown so notified. |
