Application: - Reduce particulate matter (PM 2.5), Carbon Monoxide and Hydrocarbons emitted from Diesel Engine having following features:-(a) Min Particular Matter Reduction 85%(b) Min Carbon Monoxide Reduction 90%(c) Min Hydrocarbon Reduction 90% Technology/Type: - ESP (Electrostatic Precipitator), Wet Scrubbing, Diesel Oxides Catalyst having following features:-(a) Guaranteed specified Particulate matter (PM 2.5) (b) Carbon Monoxide, Hydrocarbon reduction efficiency(c) Retrofit device is to be installed in place of existing silencer.(d) No soot is to be collected in the retrofit device. (e) The device including enclosure should include an Oxidation chamber and Passive Regeneration Trap. (f) Maximum back pressure exerted by the Emission Control retrofit device at max prescribed load by DG OEM (as per the capacity of the DG set) should be under limit and display panel to be provided for Back pressure and exhaust temperature limit.(g) Guaranteed specified Particulate matter (PM 2.5)(h) Carbon Monoxide, Hydrocarbon reduction efficiency(j) Retrofit device is to be installed in place of existing silencer.(k) No soot is to be collected in the retrofit device. |

| 3 | TEST REPORTS Certification :- Device should be ‘Type Approved’ as per the System and Procedure of Central Pollution Control Board for Emission Compliance Testing of Retro-fit Emission Control Devices (RECD) For Diesel Power Generating Set Engines, Dated 01/02/2022, wide Pollution Control Series PCLS/12/2021-22. Adhering to this, RECD to be ‘Type Tested’ for an equivalent kVA family as per the System and Procedure from any one of the Central Pollution Control Board, Govt, of India, recognized/approved test agencies/laboratories as givenas per HQ E-in-C Br policy letter No. A/37696/Gen/Pol/E2W (PPC) date 29 jun 2024 and bidder will submit RECD tested report from following CPCB recognized approved labs:- (a)Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI, Pune Maharastra)(b) International centre for automotive Testing (ICAT, Manesar)(c) Indian Oil corporation research and development centre faridabad haryana(d) Indian Institute of petroleum dehradun (UK)(e) Vehicle Research Development Establishment (VRDE, Ahmednagar) |
| 4 | NOTE: It is mandatory to upload the Type approval certificate for suitable KVA RATINGS (ENGINE FAMILY) with registration number & date (from one of the CPCB recognized approved lab in Cover – 1 bid with application of tender documents. If contractor failed to upload the same in Cover-1, bid will be rejected in Cover-1 and financial bid not be opened.”General Technical Requirements (GTR) / Commissioning: - (a) Emission Control retrofit device shall be complete with safety precautions to ensure no damage should be done to the DG set operations under any circumstances. The Emission Control retrofit device should be closely coupled with the DG exhaust to ensure 100% of the exhaust passes through the Emission Control retrofit device. |
| 5 | (b) Anti-Vibration mountings shall be provided for complete Emission Control retrofit device in case of flexible coupling with the diesel generator exhaust.(c) Emission Control retrofit device should have protection against under voltage, over voltage, under frequency, over frequency, low battery voltage, over current, earth-fault, short circuit, phase sequence change etc.(d) The Emission Control retrofit device shall be with corrosion resistive and HR paint.(e) Unloading and placement of the Emission Control retrofit device at the time of delivery is in the scope of buyer. The consignee shall ensure that the site is located along a motorable way.(f) The seller shall provide the trial run (Testing) of Emission Control retrofit device. The seller shall conduct trial run of the Emission Control retrofit device with the available electrical load at site. The trial run shall be for TWO hours. The electrical loading shall not be more than the rated capacity of the DG set.(g) Exhaust piping, extra civil work, distribution board shall be provided by the seller |

| 12 | Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60cmx 6 mm thick buried direcly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 meters below normal ground level with the top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 meters below ground level connected to galvanized iron strip 25mmx4mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made out of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of SSR part I-2009 and earth wire protected by galvanized pipe light grade 40mm bore and through test point, filling of adequate quantity ofcharcol and common saltincluding necessary earth work and excavation in any type of soil, GI light grade 20mm bore watering pipe with funnel and wire mesh, PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as inchamber with cast iron earthing pit cover having size 250 mmx250 mm, weight not less than 7.5 Kg conforming to relevant IS with framecomplete all as specified and directed and testing on completion. |
