Operation & maintenance of sewage treatment plant (Capacity 200+150 KLD) with supplying & dosing of all required chemicals including urea, Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP), Chlorine etc andother required chemicals to maintain the health of the plant on regular basis/whenever required. The charges however do not including any kind of repair of sewage treatment plant, pump & any other accessories. This item includes supply of 03 (three ) no’s workers/operator and 1 No supervisor & supply of chemicals as per site requirement complete as per direction of EIC.

Operation & maintenance of water treatment plant at 300bedded hostel withoperation & maintenance of the WTP shall be done to ensure smooth running, efficiently and economically. The effluent from the plant shall meet the desired limit as specified in IS : 10500 & CPHEEO manual of water supply & treatment, whichever is more stringent.The basic requirements as listed below are to be followed by the Contractor before commissioning & during Operation & Maintenance period of the WTP :(a) A set of recommended spares for trouble free operation of the Electrical, Mechanical, instrumentation equipments are to be kept by the agency at his cost.(b) Proper and adequate stock of tools & plants and items like gland packing belts, lubricating oils, greases are to be kept by the agency at his cost.(c) Servicing schedule of preventive maintenance as suggested by the manufacturer has to be strictly adhered to.(d) Training of Agency’s operators in proper operating procedures & maintenance practice.(e) Compliance with agreed operation & maintenance schedules including logging of all activities to the due satisfaction of the owner.(f) Observation of Safety Precautions and procedures as per site requirement complete as per direction of EIC.

Cleaning of terrace/loft water storage tank (inside surface area) upto2000 litre capacity at all heights with coconut brushes, duster etc.,removal of silt, rubbish from the tank and cleaning the tank with freshwater disinfecting with bleaching powder @ 0.5gm per litre capacityof tank including marking the date of cleaning on the side of tankbody with the help of stencil and paint and disposing of malba allcomplete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (The old date alreadywritten on tank should be removed with paint remover or black paintand if date is not written with the stencil or old date is not removeddeduction will be made @ Rs. 0.10 per litre) (if during cleaning anyGI fittings or ball cock is damaged that is to be repaired by contractorat his own cost and nothing extra will be paid on this account) as & when required

Cleaning and desilting of gully trap chamber, including removal ofrubbish mixed with earth etc. and disposal of same, all as per thedirection of Engineer-in-charge.as & when required

Cleaning of chocked sewer line by diesel running vehicle mountinghydraulic operated high pressure suction cum jetting sewer cleaningmachine fitted with pump having 4000 litres suction capacity and6000 litres water jetting tank capacity including skilled operator,supervising engineer etc. for cleaning and partial desilting of manholesand dechocking of sewer lines. Dechocking and flushing of sewerline from one manhole to another by high pressure jetting system of2200 PSI for sewer line from 150mm dia upto 300mmas & when required

Cleaning of under ground sump, Over Head R.C.C. Tank ( independentstaging) including disposal of slit and rubbish, all as per direction ofEngineer-in-Charge. The cleaning shall consist following operations:-(i) Tank shall be emptied of water by pumping & bottom shall becleaned of silt and other deposits.(ii) Entire surface area of the sump shall then scrubbed thoroughlywith wire brush etc. and pressure washed with water.(iii) Chlorination of RCC internal surface by liquid chlorine.(iv) The treated surface shall be dried using air jetting and all looseparticles shall be removal from the surface.(v) Finally the surface shall be treated with ultraviolet radiation etc.as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.as & when required
