| 1 | Boring 12 bore hole through all kinds of soil/ rocks upto a depth of 5.00m below ground level or upto hard strata (whichever is less) collecting samples and conducting necessary field and laboratorytests. Following parameters will also form of geo exploration report to be submitted:-(a) RL of the ground level/ founding level with reference to a BM should invariably mentioned in the soil investigation report.(b) Physical and chemical properties of the soil.(c) SPT N values at every 0.75m intervals and changes of strata.d) Grain size distriburion and analysis including soil characteristics.(e) Value of cohesion and angle of internal friction(f) Depth of expansive soil and its properties(g) Recommendation for type of foundations(h) Recommendation with value/ result of SBC based on N value, shear and settlement criteria at depth of 1.20m and should be work out for footing of size 1.50m x 1.20m.(j) Photographic record of geo exploration as well as testing shall also form part of the report.(k) Recommendation as regards possibility of liquifaction of soil in case of saturated or partially saturated loose/uncompacted sandy soil. |
