| 1 | Solar Module 35Wp: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Solar Photovoltaic Module of 35 Wp capacity, suitable for power fencing system, capable of charging a 12 V DC battery through a charge controller under standard test conditions. The module shall consist of high-efficiency mono/polycrystalline silicon solar cells encapsulated with UV-stabilized EVA between low-iron tempered glass and weather-resistant backsheet, framed in anodized aluminium with IP-65 or higher junction box provided with bypass diodes and UV-resistant solar cables. The module shall have a rated power output of 35 Wp ± 3%, operating voltage of 17–21 V DC, current at maximum power of about 2 A, and overall efficiency not less than 15%. The panel shall be mounted on a corrosion-resistant galvanized/aluminium structure fixed at suitable tilt facing south, designed to withstand wind speed up to 150 km/h, complete with all fixing accessories, nuts, bolts and foundation arrangements. The work shall include wiring from module to charge controller, testing for Voc, Isc and performance, and provision of earthing and surge protection. |
| 2 | The module shall conform to IEC 61215 / IS 14286, IEC 61730, and IEC 61701 standards, and shall be of MNRE-approved make such as WAAREE / TATA Power Solar / UTL Solar / Loom Solar / Vikram Solar or equivalent, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge, including all materials, labour and incidentals necessary for proper operation of the power fencing system.Note : The contractor shall visit the site, prepare and submit the layout and wiring diagram showing the make and model of all major components used in the power fencing system, for approval from the Engineer-in-Charge before commencement of work. |
| 3 | Battery: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning in replacement of Solar Tubular Battery 12V/7Ah Rechargeable batteries Maintenance-free Lead Acid free Battery along with electronic system will be kept in a protected place, near the fence. Battery will be used for storing the energy for minimum seven days during cloudy days and the same shall be utilized to power the Fence system with minimum backup of 4 hours complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. | 4 | Electric Fence Energizer:Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning in replacement of electric fence energzer conforming to IS 302 (Part-2), Section 76:1999 / BIS 302-2-76 (1999) / IEC 335-2-76 (1997) for safety compliance. The energizer shall operate on 12V DC input with a current rating of 500 mA and shall deliver a high-voltage pulse output in the range of 8 kV to 10 kV on 50k load. It shall have a pulse interval of 1.1 to 1.4 seconds, a pulse duration of 0.01 to 3 milliseconds, and provide an output energy of at least 3 to 5 Joules, with a peak current of 7 to 8 Amps. The output characteristics shall comply with Para 5.101 of IS 302-2-76 (1999). The unit shall include a minimum 4-hour battery backup and function reliably within an ambient temperature range of -20°C to +50°C. The energizer shall be capable of supporting a 200-meter ESPF zone, Facility to program energizer parameters, LCD on front panel to view parameter settings, Onboard keyboard, Adaptive power technology, Facility to integrate with third party softwares using API and shall be housed in a weather-resistant MS or GI enclosure with a lockable facility to protect against rainwater ingress and unauthorized access. A minimum warranty of 5 years shall be provided, and the installation shall be completed as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 5 | Fence Voltage Alarm Unit : Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Fence Voltage Alarm Unit suitable for solar or mains-powered electric fencing system, designed to continuously monitor fence line voltage and provide audio-visual alarm indication in case of low voltage, power loss, or line fault conditions. The unit shall be compatible with 12 V DC operation, having selectable low-voltage threshold (typically 3–5 kV adjustable), with high-brightness LED indication and buzzer/siren output. It shall include necessary sensing circuit, weatherproof housing (minimum IP-65), mounting accessories, and connection leads for live and earth fence wires. The alarm shall automatically reset when normal voltage is restored. The equipment shall be robust, corrosion-resistant, and suitable for continuous outdoor use in tropical conditions. | 6 | Hooter : Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning in replacement of 12V DC hooter and strobe light system for solar-powered electric fencing. The hooter shall produce a minimum of 150 dB sound, and the strobe light shall visible from atleast 10m in day light and 100m at might for intrusion or fault alerts. Both units shall be housed in weatherproof (IP65) enclosures and be compatible with the fence energizer system.
