| 2 | (a) One No.Mast shaft in two sections / Polygonal section, HR sheet steel conform to IS 2062 12.5 Mtr height ( 2 Parts ) made of S 355 grade as per BS-EN 10025,galvanised as per BS EN ISO 1461,suitable for wind velocity 47 m/sec as per IS 875 part 3 with raising lowering system,comprising head frame,luminaire carriage suitable to install 08 Nos luminaires in symmetrical arrangement,double drum winch,5mm diameter SS wire rope of breaking capacity 2350kg/rope & AISI 316,7/19 const,trailling cable, connector, integral power toolreversible motor 440V 50Hz 0.75/HP/ 1 HP6 pole in single speed for raising and lowering operation having speed 3mtr/minof 12.50 meter High Mast, including manual handle,junction box,lightening finial etc.The mast shall be capable of safely with standing the strong winds prevailing at site (Pathankot -Punjab) . The deflection at the top during heavy storm periods shall therefore be considered in the design and the mast designed in such way that the above deflection during worst periods is kept to a minimum value.The mast shall be fabricated from special steel plates, conforming to BS-EN10- 025, cut and folded to form a polygonal section as stated above and shall be telescopically jointed and fillets welded. The welding shall be in accordance with BS:5135.The procedural weld geometry and the workmanship shall be exhaustively tested on the completed welds. The 12.5meter size mast shall be delivered in sections, and shall be jointed at site . |
| 3 | A fabricated Lantern Carriage shall be provided for fixing and holding the flood light fitting and control gear boxes. The Lantern Carriage shall be of special design and shall be of N.B ERW class B M.S pipe / ubes acting as conduits for wires, with holes fully protected by grommets.The Lantern Carriage shall be so designed and fabricated to hold the required number of flood light fittings and the control gear boxes, and also to have a perfect self-balance.The Lantern Carriage shall be fabricated in two halves and joined by bolted flanges with stainless steel bolts and plastic lock type stainless steel nuts to enable easy installation or removal from the erected mast. The inner lining of the carriage shall be provided with protective PVC arrangement, so that no damage is caused to the surface of the mast during the raising and lowering operation of the carriage. The entire Lantern Carriage shall be hot dip galvanized after fabrication.The diameter of carriage ring should be 450 mm (ID)with 8 arm. a suitble trailing PVC cable 5 core x 2.5 sq.mm copper conductor for each high mast should be provided .The length and make should be as per OEMs specifications . |
| 4 | (b) SS Foundation bolts 6 Nos 19-24x850mm alongwith nuts, washers, anchor plates & templates as per the design and drawing of manufacturer.(c) Construction of shallow foundation with M20 grade concrete for the high mast considering the safe soil bearing capacity at site as 10 T/sqmtr at 2 metre depth with all materials and labour. With Erection of the high mast with the help of suitable tools and plants.with all materials and labour.with installation of the mast feeder piller by grouting the stand in concrete. complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Rate shall be inclusion of excavation earth and RCC foundation as per manufactures design drawing. The foundation will be as per the design of the OEMs of High Mast only. The contractor willsummit the design of High Mast lights foundation and execute the same as per OEM after the necessary approval of AO/Engr in charge .(d) The suspension system shall be essentially be without intermediate joint and shall consist of any non-corrosive stainless steel of AISI 304 ,7/19 construction or better grade.The stainless steel wire ropes shall be of 7/19 construction, the central core being of the same material. The overall diameter of the rope shall not be less than 6 mm. The breaking load of each rope shall not be less than 1350 kgx 2 individually, giving factor of safety or over 5 for system at full load The end construction of rope to winch drum shall be fitted with talurit.The thimbles shall be secured on ropes by compression splices. Two continuous lengths of stainless steel wire ropes shall be used in the system and no intermediate joints are acceptable in view of the required safety. No intermediate joints, either bolted or else is provided on the wire ropes between winch and lantern carriage. |
| 5 | (e ) M&L for wiring of Mechanised power tool for raising and lowering of High Mastof height 12.5 Meter and for luminaires,Aviation light fixed on Mast.(f) M&L of LED type Single dome aviation obstruction light.All the lights will be of OEM of HIgh Mast only and no mis match / Mixing of lights be allowed.Note: 150 W LED lamps shall be used.(i) The environment is corrosive. Selection of all materials shall be suitable for the Pathankot (Punjab) environment.(ii) The height of mast shall be 12.50 M.(iii) Each mast will have 8 luminaires The following shall be the Reference Standards for the loading of the high mast:(g) M&L forOEM Weather proof LT panel with IP 56 enclosure, made ofMS metal shall be provided on the proper base frame made out angle iron frame of not less than 50 X 50x6 MM and not height not less than 1.5 meterfrom which the inter- connections to the designed number of the flood light luminaries with 63 Amp TPN MCB incomer,ASTRO TYPEtimer switch along with suitable amp rating contractors Three pole type - 2 nos. ( for Incoming and Outgoing)along with suiatble control wiring as per OEMs design with buttons and MCBs etcincludedwiring of suitable size copper wire of control circuit for automatic switching ON and OFF of the mast lights along with allsuitable control wiring with copper wire as per OEM specificationsfor operation of Power Tool completeall as specified and directed.-01 NO Each for Each High Mask LIghting system. |
| 6 | S&F 150 Watts Food lightwithpressure die cast aluminium housing with toughened glass having IP-66 degree of protection, individual LED\"s must have secondary lense for better throw across and along the road, with system luminarie efficacy≥100 lumen/watt, colour rending index(CRI) of≥ 70, co-related colour temperature (CCT) of 5700K.
