The base plaster shall be cured for 3 to 4 days before applying the grit wash plaster. A homogeneous mix of white cement, coarse sand and 10mm nominal size sone chippings of approved colour in proportion 1:1/2:2 be prepared by adding water proofing compound @ 2% by weight of cement and be mixed homogenously and then mix be applied |
| 43 | Cont/-on a prepared base surface with a float applying gentle pressure in panels with groove all around as per approved pattern including beading, White cement slurry shall be applied @ 2Kg/sqm on base coat before applying a stone grit wash plaster. After the initial setting of about 1 to 2 hours the surface of stone grit plaster surfacebe scrubbed and washed out gently with a nylon brush and water. The cement on the surface of stone chips be washed away exposing the aggregates and plastered surface shall be cured for 14 days including necessary steel scaffolding work, complete all as specified and directed. |
