Assistance in rough machining of various jobs of Forging and casting and make them ready for dispatch to sister units and customers. The assistance work shall include loading & unloading of items from truck, trailer or wagon etc... Marking on jobs as per drawing, centring & drilling, then loading and assistance in machining of jobs on various machines like lathe (Large as small), Vertical borer (large as well small) Plano miller, Horizontal boring machine, Deep hole boring machine, parting of ends on band saw machine, repair of tooling in CMW machines & tool room. The assistance work shall also include inter bay transfer of jobs, loading on & unloading from machine, Chip removal from machine area, pits, shop floor area, filling of bins with removed chips and loading on truck at designated place in shop, daily brooming of shop floor and works complete including clerical staff for preparation of various machining related reports.(the unit of measurement shall be quantity of generated chips, cores & off cuts, weighed in MT as per the weighing slips generated on the weighing bridge and sent to SMS for remelting. Quantity will be decided on basis of actual machining and end cutting of items (Forgings and castings). Chips generated after machining, core cutting and end cutting pieces will be handed over to steel melting shop through weighment in weigh bridge. Weighment slips will be received by SMS and signed copy will have to be submitted to machine shop. Calculation of measurement will be based on signed copy slips provided by SMS. End pieces that will be shifted to forge shop will not be considered for weighment or quantity calculation. Similarly the risers parted off from the castings that will be shifted to foundry shop will not be considered for weighment or quantity calculation).Detailed scope of work is attached along with tender enquiry.
