Surface Preparation:(i)Preparing the surface for laying of Synthetic mat by thorough cleaning the existing wooden floor to remove all dust, dirt, and debris. (ii) Fill any cracks, holes or uneven areas including the filling the gaps between the wooden planks with a wooden sealant or with resin. ThenSand thesurface to create a perfectly flat and even surface to avoid the synthetic mat to ripple or tearovertime. (iii) Apply a vapor or wooden primer or a sealant to the wooden floor for moisture-proofing to prevent the wood from warping and damaging the mat.

Providing and fixing the 100% PVC non- skid synthetic mat of 5mm thickness and weight shall not be less than 2.75 kg per sqm. The synthetic mat shall be fixed to wooden surface with a specialized sports mat adhesive or high-quality double-sided tape to the wooden floor & ensure full and even coverage, particularly along the perimeter and seams, to prevent the mat from shifting during play. Fuse the mats together by applying cold weather agent or with seam sealant and tape down the entire court with strong, wide sports-grade masking tape. (The syntheticmats should be approved by Badminton World Federation (BWF) and a valid certificate for BWF approved floor mat supplier to be submitted by the contractor/vendor at the time of submission of the bid.). Premarked the courts as per the BWF rules by machine to be provided and all complete the work as per the direction of Engineer-in-ChargePreferred colour of Mat: as per the diection of Engineer-in-ChargePreferred Brand : Yonex/ Li-Ning/ Carlton/ Victor/ Apacs, etc.Warranty: Minimum 2-years manufacturer warranty
