| 2 | Material & Labour for repairs to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1.0 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in road, path etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth making good by filling in screened and graded road metal over a priming / tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm and providing premixed bituminous macadam with crushed and graded stone aggregate mixed together with 4.50% of paving bitumen of grade VG-30 by weight of total mix, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.80 Kg per 10sqm, blinding with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3mm size and again well rammed including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipping, depth of pot holes exceeding 30mm, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 3 | Material & Labour for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc., complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 4 | Material & Labour for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 5 kg per 10 Sqm of road surface by sprayer operated on hot pressure mechanism over old black top surfaces, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 5 | Material & Labour for Bituminous premix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) with crushed and graded coarse aggregates as per design based on Job mix formula with 5.5% bitumen binder content (bitumen of Grade VG-30) by weight of total mix including heating bitumen to the required temperature, mixing bituminous concrete in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing plant, laying, spreading uniformly by means of Mechanical paver and rolling and consolidating to the required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller to a uniform smooth surfaces, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Notes :(i) The actual requirement of binder shall be as per the job mix formula and test specified. However quantity from the mix formula found more than specified 5.5% same will be provided with no extra cost to the Govt. In case binder content found to be less than 5.5% as per mixformula as specified in Schedule \"A\" shall be adusted @ the rate of 46.90/Kg for the less quanity of bitumen used. The quantity of 5.5 % mentioned is exclusive of any wastage and no wastage shall be taken into account for the purpose of above adjustment. (ii) Rate of carring out design mix shall be inclusive of rate quoted by the contractor. |

| 7 | Supply & Fixing Solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4 V / 0.3 Watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2 V/ 1600 MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10000 to 18000 mcd, completed as per manufactures instructions etc., including taking down old cat eyes, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Make- SENAR, Dhruv, Road Star or Equivelent. |
| 8 | Material & Labour for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc., and the line not exceeding 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufactures instructions, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
