| 10 | Removal of existing MS ERW/MS galvanized pipelines & fabrication, erection/ fixing, painting, testing, commissioning of new M.S. galvanised seamless pipelines (pipes of heavy duty conforming to IS 1239 Part-I and make: Tata/ Jindal) of following diaabove ground level/floor level in the plant/yard at different elevations (about 4 to 8 mtr) with a) Socket welded/butt welded/threaded joints of all fittings (except supply and fixing of valves & valve flanges which will be measured under relevant item) wherever required including supplying and fixing of all necessary galvanized socketed fittings such as elbows, collars,tees, unions, couplings, flanges up to size 50 mm b) Fabrication of fittings from galvanized pipes for sizes exceeding 50 mm except where readymade fittings are to be fixed. c) Transporting, loading and unloading pipes to work spot, welding of all fittingsd) Pipes to be supported with suitable 6 mm dia MS clamps to MS structural frame work.e) Painting with two coats of polyurethane paint of M/s. Asian/ Pidilite/ Johnson & Nichelson/ Berger/ Nerolac over a coat of epoxy primer, cleaning with approved method, f) Purging, testing, flushing including cost of all consumables, gaskets, bolts and nuts for flanged joints, labour etc., complete as directed.g) Providing suitable scaffolding wherever required is in the Scope of contractorh) 15 mm NB and 40 mm NB MS pipes will be provided by Department. i) 75 mm NB and 100 mm NB pipes supplied vide Item No. 1.01 & 1.02 by the Contractor and 15 mm NB & 40 mm NB pipes provided by Department are to be used for replacement of removed pipe lines by the Contractor |
