| 11 | Supplying andfixing FRP Vallygutter, 600mm width, central height of 250mm , minimum wall thickness 6mm , trapezoidal shape suitable to existing site condition, providing necessary stiffeners at regular interval ( approx .1.20 m centre to centre ) to prevent sagging, fixing just below the edge of roof sheet, providing sufficient slope towards both ends in to the rain water drain pipe. The gutter shall be made using isophthalic resin, glass fiber mat, surface mat & resin coating at top ( grey colour ) on exterior surface, each gutter of length 6 m to 8 m approx, proper overlapping at joints. The end of roof gutter shall have outletnozzle/ end drop of approx, size 150mm dia, 200 mm long at both end to suit PVC drain pipe, end stoppers, jointing them in PVC rain water down take pipe using same type of FRP resin,, glass fiber should be smooth finish without any defects. All the joints shall be lined with additional layers of glass fiber mat & resin and make the joints leak proofnecessary scaffolding etc all required for the completion of the work and as directed by Engineer - in - charge with prior approvil. the adjustable MS threaded bolts of required size& length shall be provided under the existing purlin to make sufficient slope towards the end of drain. including cost and conveyance of all materials, labour charges,for cutting shaping conveyance & lead & lift & fixingFRP VG, hire charges for tools and plants,providing necessary scaffolding platforms etc complete as per standard specification. |
| 12 | The FRP coating work schedule as specified belowa) Supplying and applying two coats of FRP coating on various surfaces, including AC roof sheet joints,bolt holes, ridge, boundary wall gutter, and the outside surface of the parapet wall. The coating should be performed using isophthalic resin and glass fiber mat coating at the top. The minimum wall thickness requirements will be determined by the company authorities. The work should ensure leak-proof joints and comply with the instructions of the Engineer-in-charge. b) Surface Preparation: The surface preparation shall involve thorough cleaning using a wire brush or sandpaper to remove existing damaged coating any loose particles, rust, or contaminants. The surface should be clean, dry, and free from any debris before the application of FRP coating. c) Material and Application: a) FRP Coating: The FRP coating material shall consist of isophthalic resin, glass fiber mat, surface mat, and resin coating. The coating shall be applied in two coats to achieve the desired thickness and durability. The color of the top coat should be approved colour as specified. b) Application Method: The FRP coating shall be applied according to the manufacturer\"s guidelines and industry best practices. The coating should be evenly applied to the designated areas, ensuring complete coverage and adherence. d) Leak-proof Joints: All joints, including AC roof sheet joints, bolt holes, ridge, boundary wall gutter, and parapet wall, shall be made leak-proof using the FRP coating. The coating should provide a reliable seal, preventing water ingress and ensuring long-term protectione) Safety Measures: Necessary safety measures shall be implemented during the FRP coating application. This includes the provision of appropriate scaffolding, platforms, and safety equipment as required by the Engineer-in-charge.f) Cost and Completion: The contractor shall bear the cost of all materials, including FRP coating materials, as well as labor charges, hire charges for tools and plants, and the provision of necessary scaffolding platforms.
