| 7 | 203 mm dia horizontal V- wire screen for silt trap made up of low carbonized steel cage treated with grit blasting, spray galvanizing with zinc metal coating. Zinc metal coating spraying should involve galvanizing (Thermal Spray Coating of Zinc-TSZ) ie,, depositing of molten zinc (Purity 99.5%) on to a prepared surface. The metal spraying is to be melted in an electric arc automized by compressed air and then projected onto the substrate for grit blasting as per IS & BS standards. IS 5905 IS 6586 BS: 5493 with powder epoxy hybrid of thickness 40 to 60 microns and coating of the screen with anti oxidant powder follows: Pattern on-screen wound on pipe consisting of continuous trapezoidal wire spirally wound around fabricated cage, Slot size 3mm, a tensile strength of screen 6 tons, collapse strength of screen up to 9.6 kg/cm2 slot opening size 70%.
