| 14 | Note for item No. 1 :-The scope of works cover the following :-(i) The repair/servicing / maintenance works for the EOT cranes including Hoist hook universal type shall be carried out by the trained / skilled technicians and shall conform to the standard Engineering practice / IS code and as per the standard code / norms of Government and rate quoted is inclusive of minor repairs. (ii) The cranes shall be inspected and serviced at the rate of minimum of one service per month.(iii) Attending to any break down within 24 hours and restoring the service.(iv) Insurance coverage for all technicians, workers involved in the works. (v) Record / maintain register of all maintenance carried out all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (vi) Adherence to safety rules and regulations in respect of EOT cranes.(vii) Adherence to security rules and regulations of the Naval Dockyard, Mumbai(viii) A list of makes / brands of spares / materials to be incorporated in the works shall be got approved immediately after getting the work order.(ix) All tools, instruments and plants required for carrying out the above works shall be provided by the contractor. |

Note: (i) The servicing will be done by OEM or authorised rep of OEM and certificate in this regard shall be submittedalongwith RAR/FB (ii) A panelty of Rs 2000/- per month will be imposed in case of non attendant of lift.(iii) Replacement of any minor spare parts required will be included in the quoted rates.(iv) The technician must attend during the docking and undocking.(V)The tenderer shall visit the site of work with prior permission of GE and ascertain the actual make, model of plant/eqpts and conditions of the plants and scope of work.Make and size of items of spares of crane shall be of same size and make of existing cranes. |
