| 1 | Repair/Renewal/maintenance of street light feeder (over head conductors) after arranging elect shut down of street light feeders from sub station to remove oxidise part at the point of connection to street light from LT over head line ane reconnect the same to LT over heal line after removing the oxidise part all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge . Note:-(i) The electrician employed for the purpose will be highly skilled along with one mate and should have all necessary tools and safty devices. |
| 2 | Attending complaint & Checking ofstreet light feeder (under ground cables) from Junction box to fittings using electtools, equipments and safety devices after arranging elect shut down of street light feeders from sub station to remove elect faults like tightning of loose jumpers, trimming of tree branches on a particular span, re-tightning of binding wires on insulators, re-tightning of cable lugs etc all as required at site and as directed.Note:-(i) The electrician employed for the purpose will be highly skilled along with one mate and should have all necessary tools and safty devices.(ii) Materials like cables used for rectification of faults like will be measured and paid seperately. |
| 3 | M&L for Repair of Unsv street/security lights, flood lights , post top lanterns or any other external lights by taking down to ground, testing all the components/parts, wiring etc, identifying and replacing the defective components like choke (ballast), electronic driver (in case of LED Lights), ignitor, capacitor, lamp, lamp holder, connector, connection wires/ cable, MCB etc including refixing the fitting to its original position (if taken down), including repair/maint of street light control timer & junction box all as directed by Engr-in-charge for the complete contract period from the date of commencement of work. |
| 4 | Note:-(i)The rate against above mentioned item is deemed for cost of labour and minor spare parts. LED Driver if replaced will be measured & paid separately.(ii) The contractors representative will report to concerned JE E/M at 0900 hrs daily to collect the list of defective street lightfittings and will submit the completion report on the same day before 1730hrs to JE E/M.(iii) The contractor has to rectify the defects/ repair and make the street light functional within 24 hours from the time the list ofdefective street lights is handed over to him/his rep by the concerned JE E/M. In case the street light is not made funtional for whatsoever reason within the specified time limit, an amount of Rs. 150/- per such defective street light per day will be recovered from the amount due to him through RAR/Final Bill.(iv)Contractor shall arrange requisite and sufficient no transport and vehicle mounted hydraulic ladder at his own.(v)The contracor shall maintain proper record of repair/maint in a binded register duly bringing out the details of spares replaced on each and every street light and get it tuthenticated from concerned JE E/M on daily basis. The contractor shall put up the maint record register to Engineer-in-charge for inspection every monday or as and when akded for. |
| 5 | (vi)The contractor shall be fully responsible for the safety of his men engaged for executing this work and he will provide all requisite safety equipment and clothings to his men and department shall not be repsonsible for any kind of mishap/accident/injury to his men. (vii)The contractor shall maintain sufficient stock of spares/material required for repair/maint of street lights with the concerned JE E./M against the supply only items here-in-below, required screws, insulating tapes, internal wiring wire, gaskets and other minor items excluding the required spares parts for repairing and making the street light fittings/security light fittings in serviceable condition, will be arranged and supplied by the contractor and cost of which is deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contrator under this item.(v)Contractor shall arrange requisite and sufficient no transport and vehicle mounted hydraulic ladder at his own.(vi)The contracor shall maintain proper record of repair/maint in a binded register duly bringing out the details of spares replaced on each and every street light and get it tuthenticated from concerned JE E/M on daily basis.
