Scarifying or packing gravelled, macadam or bituminioussurfaces in area n.exc.400 Sqm and depth exc 50 mm & n.exc 150 mm deep including removal from ste of work complete all as specified anddirected.

Material & Labour for Wet Mix macadam 75 mm thik (compackted thickness) mixture of graded aggrgate ( granite, trap or basalt) with stone dust and cement @ 2% spread rolled and consolidating to requied gradient and camber using power roller exceeding 8 ton and not exc 12 ton capacity. complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & Labour for preperation of new surface of wet mix macadam by wire brushing for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning and cleaned the surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc amd applying evenly a priming tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 Kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen on unsurfaced water bound macadam complete all as specified and directed .

Prepairing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for applying evenly a tack coat with bitumen emulsion 5 Kg per 10 Sqm (paving grade bitumen VG-10 grade) with the help of pressure sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness by using paving bitumen VG-30 grade with 6 % binder content by weight of total mix ,laying with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller complete all as specified and directed.Note- i) Semi dense bituminous concrete shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper.ii) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined following the Marshall mix design procedure contained in the Asphalt Institute Manual MS-2 ( Sixth Edition) as referred in case 3.5.3 of IRC 111: 2009, The adjustment in rate on MINUS side variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of Rs 60.00 per Kg. No claim whatsoever shall be made for adjustment in plus side.

Providing and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips (retro-reflective) of specified shade/ colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/ semi-automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T & P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing retro reflective raised pavement markers, double sided cat eye yellow/orange/red colour ABS road plastic IRC 67 having road capacity of 40 Ton having reflective colour both sides and size 110x120x24 mm, including taking down unsv cat eye complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge

S & F solar road studs of size not less than 125X 125 X 25 mm made of weather resistance aluminium alloy and poly carbonate material electronically welded micro- prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by the Engineer in charge. The cats eye shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The slope of retro- reflective surface shall be 35⁰ ± 5⁰ to base. The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12 cm of reflective area up each side. The luminance intensity should be as per the specification and shall be tested as described in ASTM E: 809 as recommended in BS: 873 part 4 :1973. The studs shall be fixed to the Road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS, as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. The solar panel shall be high efficiency mono crystalline 2.5 V/60 m A and the battery shall be one Ni-mh type (1.2 V/1200 m Ah) high temp for backup of 36 hours full charging. The flash frequency shall be 60 ± 5 times per minute.
