| 1 | Material and labour for repairs to potholes any depth, exceeding 30mm and area not exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal and making good by applying tack coat @ 5 Kg per 10Sqm (VG-10), putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.80 kg per 10sqm (using paving bitumen VG-30), binded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), rolled with smooth wheeled power roller 8 to 12 tonne and compacted to required camber and gradient and finishes to a uniform and smooth surfaces, complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 2 | Material and labour for preparing and applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer at 2.5 KG per 10 Sq.m of paving bitumen ofVG-10 complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 3 | Material and labour for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all dirt etc. and applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 KG per 10 Sq.m of paving bitumen ofVG-10 complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 4 | Material and labour for premix bituminous macadam, using paving bituminous of VG-30 Grade @ 4.5% by weight of total mix, mixed in hot mix plant & laid by mech paver finisher, rolled & compacted to required gradient & camber, consolidated thickness, exc 50mm but not exc 75mm complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in- Charge. |
| 5 | Material and labour for bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% paving bitumen grade VG-30 as a binder content by weight of total mix and grading of aggregates & design criteria as specified in SSR Part-I clause No 20.B.2.5.4(d) & 20.B.2.11 and mix at hot mix plant, spread with mechanical paver rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber with power roller 8 to 12 tonne and all as specified in para 20.B.4 & sub para 20.B.4 of MES Schedule Part-I complete all as specified and as directed.Note: (i) For job mix formula design purpose maximum binder shall be as described i.e. 5.5% for VG-30 grade bitumen.(ii) No price adjustment shall be applicable if the approved quantity of bin+B23der as per design mixed is more than 5.5%. (iii) During design stage if binder content used less than 5.5% necessary price adjustment on quoted rate shall be done as per actual binder content used.(iv) Design to be got approved from GE |
| 6 | Material & Labour for Road Marking Strips, Lines, Dashes, Arrows, Letters etc of 2.5 mm thick [Reflective Type] of approved colour conforming to BS 3262-1989 on roads, pavements and the like not exceeding 10cm wide with Hot Thermo Plast material by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heaters and profile shoe heater, driven by skilled operator on road surface complete as per MoRT & H specifications including cleaning the road surface of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign materials etc complete all as specified and as directed. |
