Tender For Addition/Alteration To Existing Security Wall And Drainage At Sector 28 D Chandigarh Under Ge Chandigarh; 1 Preparation of drawings of wall,drain and connected items,submission to and approval of drawings from concerned authority(UT Chandigarh ) ,clearance from UT as per UT norms at various stages during execution of work including completion of work from concerned authority as per their norms and conditions. Note : Clearance will be taken by executing contractor through concerned user unit 2 Demolition of brick workbuilt in cement mortar incl all quions arches, pillar etc but excluding ashlar facings,dressed stone work and precast concrete articles or any other descrption etc complete including disposal of unservicable rubbish outside Cantt area all as per UT norms and specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note : Rates quoted for this item are deemed to be inclusive of this provision 3 Dismantling posts or struts embedded in concrete, brick work, masonry, etc. (wood, steel or R.C.C.) any section, including taking out embedded portion and making good disturbed ground etc including disposal of unservicable rubbish outside Cantt area all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 4 Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exceeding 1.50 meter wide and not exceeding 1.5 meterin depth; for foundation or forshafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pierholes, etc. not exceeding 10 sq. m on plan andgetting out complete all as specified. 5 Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exceeding 1.50 meter wide,exceeding 1.5 meter but not exceeding 3.0 meterin depth; for foundation or forshafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pierholes, etc. not exceeding 10 sq. m on plan andgetting out complete all as specified. 6 Plain cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2,using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed. 7 PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in surface channels and drains including necessary use and waste of form work complete all as specified and directed 8 Precast reinforcecd cement concrete Type B1 1:2:4 using 20mm gradedaggregate as in landings, cover slabs (for man holes etc.) chullah hoods,chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces set in cement mortar 1:4 including necessary use and waste of form work complete all as specified and directed 9 Extrafor forming fair finished drains or channels upto 60 cm inner girth in cement concrete using extra cement including forms, moulds, mitred/ stoppedends complete all as specified and directed. 10 Reinforced Cement Concrete Design Mix M 25 using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in foundations including rafts,footings,foundation beabs,plinth beams,bases for columns,basement slabs,under reamed piles and mass concrete and the like complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 11 Reinforced Cement ConcreteDesign Mix M 25 using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in walls, retaining walls,basement walls, ballast walls and the like; any thickness; above top of footings; including attached pilasters and buttresses and the like complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 12 Reinforced Cement ConcreteDesign Mix M 25 using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in beams, cantilevers, bressummers, lintels over 1.5 mtr span and the like complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 13 Use & waste of formwork to edges of concrete flats, breaks in floors, openings in concrete walls, floors and roofs and sides of RCC/PCC bands in walls, horizontal or sloping, and similar work not exceeding 20cm wide.. (rough finished flat surfaces of concrete), complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 14 Use & waste of formwork to sides of concrete foundation,footings,bases of columns,raft and raft beams,sides and soffits of foundation and plinth beams and similar works,vertical or to batter surfaces of concrete etc. (rough finished flat surfaces of concrete), complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 15 Use & waste of formwork to faces of walls,retaining walls, abutments,parapets and staircase railings and similar work including attached pillasters, buttresses,etc.; vertical or to batter surfaces of concrete etc. (rough finished flat surfaces of concrete), complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge 16 TMT steel bars 10mm dia and over, of grade Fe-500D cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 17 TMT steel bars 5 mm dia and over, of grade Fe-500D cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clipsin stirrups, spacers and binders complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 18 Brickwork with subclass ‘B’ bricks,class as per IS 1077-1992 minimum compressive strength 100 Kg/Sqcm,, old size bricks, straight or curved on plan to any radiusbuilt in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 19 Rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on on fair faces of brick or concrete surfaces etcmixed with water proofing compound finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.NOTE: Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately. 20 Supply only liquid water proofing compound ISI Marked complete all as specified and directed. 21 Keyed pointing to brick wallsin cement mortar 1:4 etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 22 Preparation of newexternal surfaces of walls and applying Two or more coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance asper IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10sqm as per manufacturers instructions etc over and including 1 mm thick cement based putty complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 23 Plain cement concrete1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as incopings, apex stones,benching in manholes, haunching around manhole frame for settting and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating with and including using necessary use and waste of formwork for fair finished surface complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 24 Mild Steel work as in posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling,boltingor riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all asas specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 25 150 mm bore, PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, fixed to walls complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 26 Preparation of new or previously untreated steel and iron surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applyingtwo coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 27 Galvanised. 2 strand, steel barbedwire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails strain- ing bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. as directed (each line wire to be measured) complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 28 Concertina coil wire entanglements punched type 600 mm dia and fixed with angle iron post and barbed wire including taking down old barbed wire complete all asas specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 29 Supply , fixing,testing and comissioning single phase sewage submersible electric driven pump set2 HP,discharge range 600-1000 lpm, AC 230 volt ,frequency 50 HZ,head range 2.8 -14 mtr,shaft material stainless steel,speed 2800 RPM with ultrasonic level sensor complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note :Pump set shall be automatically operated vide an ultrasonic level sensor to be installed in existing receiving sump including all connections 30 Supply , fixing,testing and comissioning submersible motor starter MS control 2 HP for water filled / submersible control panel with water level controller system including all connectionscomplete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 31 80 mm mild steel water pipe heavy duty both end flanged as column pipe (each length of column pipe 3mtr) long as in repair complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 32 Supply , fixing, jointing with rubber or fibre board gasket for 80 mm dia pipe complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 33 Non returnvalve cast iron 80 mm dia, PN-1.6 class with flanged ends at both sides fitted with GI pipe incl connected accessories and joining materials complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 34 Run lead joint in position, including removing old lead to store of size 80mm diafor Spigot and socket pipe & fittings incl connected accessories and joining materials complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 35 Nut, Bolt & Washers machine made suitable for jointing of column pipe fixed as in repaircomplete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 36 PVC insulated,unsheathed copper conductor submersible cable 16 sq. mm, 3 core,flat in shape suitable for submersible pump motor fixed in repaircomplete all as specified. 37 Heavy duty stainless steel chain 15 mtrs long with 40 mm chain links including locking arrangement D shackles complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 38 Mild Steel Framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing complete conforming to Fe-290 (Gde E-165) all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 39 Earthing complete with and including galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm surrounded by a mixture of charcoal and salt in alternate layers burried directly in ground vertically in a pit of depth not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth of not less than 1.5 m below ground level, connected with and including galvanised iron or steel earth wire, 4mm dia (No. 8 SWG) by means bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made out of galvanised iron, 15 mm bore (light grade) GI pipe for protection of earthing lead, 20 mm bore (light grade) GI pipe for watering with funnel, wire mesh and including necessary excavation and earth work, PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 pit and 50 mm thick RCC M-25(Design mix) reinforced with XPM (weight not less than 3 kg/sq m) pit cover, C.I frame, charcoal and comman salt filling in alternate layers, complete all as shown and specified in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I (2009) complete all as shown on drawings and as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note : The unit rate includes for protecton pipe 15mm and GI earth strip 4mm from top of earth plate upto 7.50 metre above ground level. 40 Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick each,excavated soil in soft/loose soil, complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 41 Removingof surplussoil/ excavated material to a distance exceeding 250 metre but not exceeding 500 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 42 Note: For the purpose of arriving at net contract sum amount, the amount of credit schedule i.e Sch A section II (i.e Rs 73500.00 shall be deducted from the total amount arrived.
