| 7 | Material & Labour for Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness by using paving bitumen VG-30 grade with 6 % binder content by weight of total mix ,laying with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller complete all as specified and directed.Note- i) Semi dense bituminous concrete shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper.ii) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined following the Marshall mix design procedure contained in the Asphalt Institute Manual MS-2 ( Sixth Edition) as referred in case 3.5.3 of IRC 111: 2009, The adjustment in rate on MINUS side variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of Rs 60.00 per Kg. No claim whatsoever shall be made for adjustment in plus side. |

| 9 | Material & Labour for preparation of black bituminous road surfaces by removing all loose dirt, dust etcand applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips (retro-reflective) of specified shade/ colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/ semi-automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T & P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 10 | S & F solar road studs of size not less than 125X 125 X 25 mm made of weather resistance aluminium alloy and poly carbonate material electronically welded micro- prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by the Engineer in charge. The cats eye shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The slope of retro- reflective surface shall be 35⁰ ± 5⁰ to base. The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12 cm of reflective area up each side. The luminance intensity should be as per the specification and shall be tested as described in ASTM E: 809 as recommended in BS: 873 part 4 :1973. The studs shall be fixed to the Road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS, as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. The solar panel shall be high efficiency mono crystalline 2.5 V/60 m A and the battery shall be one Ni-mh type (1.2 V/1200 m Ah) high temp for backup of 36 hours full charging. The flash frequency shall be 60 ± 5 times per minute. |

| 12 | S & F Manufacturing, supplying and fixing retro reflective Mandatory/Regulatory sign boards of 900 mm diametre with support length of 3750 mm and made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated type heat activated retro reflective sheeting confirming to type-IV of ASTM-D 4956-01 in blue and silver white or other colour combination including subject matter, message (bi-lingual),symbols and boarders etc.as per IRC, 67:2001, pasted on substrate by an adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying heat and pressure confirming to class- 2 of ASTM- D- 4956-01and fixing the same with suitable sized aluminium alloy rivets @ 20 cm C/C to back support frame of MS angle iorn of size 25X25X 3 mm along with theft resistant measures, mounted and fixed with 2 Nos, MS angles of size 35X35X5mm to a vertical post made up to MS Tee section ISMT 50 X50XX6 mm welded with base plate of size 100X100X5 mm at the bottom end and including making holes in pipes angle flats, providing and fixing MS measage plate of requied size, steel work to be painted with two or morre coats of synthetic enamel paint of requied shade and of approved brand & manufacture over priming coat of zyinc chromate yellow primer (vertical MS -Tee support to be painted in the black and white colour) . Back side of aluminium sheet to be painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint over and including appropriate priming coat including all leads and lift etc. Complete all as per specified and directed. |
