| 2 | M & L Preparing of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces by air compressor to remove all loose dirt,preparing premix bituminous macadam surfaces etc and applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 kg/10 sqm using paving bitumen VG- 10(using mechanical sprayers only) and laying bituminous premix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (Gde-II), 30 mm consolidated thickness with minimum 5.5% binder content (bitumen grade VG-30) by weight of total mix in hot mix plant, laid with mechanical paver and rolled to a uniform smooth surface with 12 tonnes articulated tandem roller (Double drum vibratory roller) and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.Note: (i)The mix shall be mixed in hot mix plant and laid with mechanical paver only.(ii)The mix shall be prepared by designing through job mix formula all as specified from Govt. engg college / Govt approved lab. (iii)No price adjustment for Bitumen shall be done for variation on plus side. (iv) Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete will be comprising of 2% filler material (OPC 43 grade cement). (v) Cost of testing charges, material & transportation for job mix formula shall be deemed included in the rate quoted. |

| 6 | M & L cleaning bituminous/concrete road surface free from all dirt, dust and other foreign material etc. and applying 2.0mm thick hot applied thermoplastic retro reflective road marking paint of white/yellow colour as in strips/lines on road surfaces upto 150 mm width and including glass beads @ 0.45 kg/sqm.The hot application shall be carried out mechanically and the finished surface to be levelled uniform and free from staks and holes complete all as specified in MORTH clause 803.4 and as directed. |
