| 1 | 1. Before starting the work ensure the power supply shall be switched off.2. All safety and security rules and regulations of NFC shall be followed while working.3. Any damage to department materials by contractor and his personnel shall be repaired or replaced to original condition by the contractor on free of cost. Decision of department in this regard is full and final.4. Filter the clean the existing gravel for removing dust and pieces of gravel.5. The entire work shall be carried as per guidance of IS 3043 latest version.6. The work should be started only after obtaining the safety work permit from SED of NFC and Line Clear in writing from the operating staff of sub-station wherever required. |
| 2 | Removal of old metal/aggregate (size upto 100mm)/stone dust/LDPE sheet upto the depth of 300mm in the existing 132KV switch yard area and various load centers by manual means,clearing of all areas of all grass, rank vegetation, shrubs, bushes, trees upto 300mm girth measured 1.00 metre above ground level, soil/dirt over metal/aggregate, if any, stacking, dressing of base to required profile/level, watering, ramming/compacting, lead up to 150 mts and all lifts etc, complete as directed by the Engineer -in-charge at site. |
| 3 | Earthwork excavation by manual means in all types of soils with pick axe, crow bars, shovels etc., in all conditions such as dry, wet and slushy etc. for 150m lead and all lifts etc includingclearing of all areas of all grass, rank vegetation, shrubs, bushes, trees upto 300mm girth measured 1.00 metre above ground level if any, dressing the soil to required profile/level, watering, ramming/compacting, complete as per the directions of the Engineer in charge. |
| 4 | Supply and carefully spreading of 20mm size Hard Broken Granitemetal in switch yard including conveyance of all materials, labour charges, leads, lifts, without damaging LDPE sheet beneath,complete as per the directions ofthe Engineer in charge |
| 5 | Supply, spreading and compacting of crushed stone dust in the switch yardarea including suitable antiweed chemical treatment after completion of final leveling and grading of subgrade within switch yard area including cost of all materials, all leads and lifts, labour charges complete as per the directions of the Engineer in charge |
| 6 | Supply and laying of 180 GSM LDPE sheet including laying the sheet neatly upon layer of crushed stone dust without folds to avoid the vegetation and weed growth, cutting and jointing the sheet properly including cost & conveyance of all materials, all leads, labour charges for laying complete as per the directions of the Engineer in charge |
| 7 | Segregating, seiving of useful20mm metal for re -using from the stack of the metal/aggregate removed from the existing switchyard areas, removal of unwanted material, dirt etc., spreading the useful 20 mm metal/aggregate without damaging the LDPE sheet beneath for all leads and lifts etc., complete as directed by the Engineer-in-chargeat site. |
| 8 | Lead charges within NFC premisesfor additional lead over the initial leadby mechanical transport, including loading, unloading, stacking, the disposable soil, aggregate, rock, debris, other unserviceable materials etc., Note: Measurement of lead charges will be based on truck measurement with a deduction of voids @20% and 50% for soils and rock or debris respectively. |
