1	Excavation in trenches n\"exc 1.5m wide and n\"exc 1.5 mtr deep for sewage pipe line and manhole, laying of cables, pipes etc and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.
2	Returning, filling incl spreading, levelling watreing and well rammingh in layers n\"exc 25cm in soft/loose soil for sewage pipe line manholes sides cable etc and cleaning the site all as specified and directed .
3	Removing excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50m above from the starting point complete all as specified and directed.
4	M & L for Cutting/drilling the existing DI/CI GI pipes lines upto 20 mm dia, in position for inserting and including of new Tees. branches etc including excavation, returning filling , Removal , jointing , complete all as specified and directed.

6	Supply and fixing in replacement Sluice valve of size 200 mm dia Cl body, both ends flanged duly drilled, ISI marked with IS-14846-2000, PN-1.6 having Stainless Steel spindle and check nut including operating wheel fixing with new nuts, bolts, washers and rubber insertion/packing complete all as specified and directed.
7	M&L for construction of PCC block walling valve pit of size 1200mmx 1200mm x1200mm(internal dimension) with precast cement concrete block of PCC 1:3:6 type-C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate built in CM (1:4) and 10 mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 on internal and exposed external surfaces with and incl 40x40x6 mm mild steel angle iron frame and 3mm thick MS sheet cover thickness not less than 3mm with locking arrangement and 1 No 50 mm size 4 level lock with key in duplicate incl painting to steel and iron surfaces with two coats of black bituminous paint over a coat of red oxide prime complete all as specified and directed.

12	Note :-(a) In case of laying of CI/GI/DI pipe line is to be executed in civil area, it will be the responsibility of the contractor to obtain necessary permission for cutting of road & berm from BWSSB.
13	(b) For this purpose amount to be paid online to BWSSB, same is deemed to be included in unit quoted rate.
14	(c) The T&P like JCB, Drill Machine, Moveable Generator etc required for cutting of road shall be arranged by the contractor & no extra cost shall be paid for the same.
15	(d) After execution of work, the contractor will make good disturbed portion of road with bitumen or PCC complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The cost for same is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rate.

275	The quoted rate shall also deemed to be included the following :- (i)Prior toinstallation of maintenance free chemicalearthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthingwork to be donein presence of Engr-in- Charge/JE (E/M),user and the report has tosubmitto Garrison Engineer with recommendation of manufacturer, if required additional interconnection ofearthing (not more than 08 number of earthing) to achive earth result less then 1 Ohms. The arrangement done for soil resistivity testingandsubmission of report with recommendationdeemed to be included in the quoted rate.
276	(ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for indicating only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contractor shall quote rate by considering all factors.
277	(iii) Rateofearth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earthresistance reducingliquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.
278	(iv)Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor along with the sample approval
279	(v) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH value should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete.
280	(vi) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm shallbe fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end (copper strip upto 7.5 RM shall be considered in unit quoted rate and extra will be measured and paid separately).
281	(vii)Testing of earth shall be carriedout in presence ofdepartmental and user representativeand report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer duly signed by all concerned.
282	(viii)Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor.Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.
283	(ix)Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned.After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.
284	(x) The contractor shall give a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.
285	(xi) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including soft/ disintegrated or hard rock.
286	(xii) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is maintained.
287	(xiii) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing for each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor from final bill for the guarantee period.
288	(xiv) The electrode shallcarry manufacturer\"s name .
289	(xv) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper boundedrodto avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.
290	(xvi) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm.
291	(xvii)Earth work such as auguring andmaking good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil.
