Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area n.exc 400 sqm, exc 100mm and n.exc 150 mm deep complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 150mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Mecadam (WMM) in two layers as per MORT&H specification using crusher broken graded stone aggregate laid with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to 10 tones power roller and vibratory roller complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for Moorum/red bajri filling in pavings laid in layers not exc 15 cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed, including watering, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with power roller complete all as specified and as directed by Engr - in - charge.

M&LPreparing of unsurfaced Wet Mix Mecadam (WMM) surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applyingprimer coat with cationic bitumen emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 and requisite quatity on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer using mechanical means including cost and carriage of bitumen emulsion and all other incidental costs of work complete as per clause 502 of specifications for Road and Bridge works of MORTH 5th Revision, for WMM surface (with primer @ 0.85 kg/sqm), using SS-I Type packed bituminous emulsion complete all as specified and as directed by Engr - in - charge.

M&L for Premix bituminous macadam with 4% (Minimum) binder content ofVG-30 grade bitumen by weight of total mix using mechanical pavers and vibratory rollers of appropriate specifications laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr - in - charge.

M&L for applying tack coat with cationic bitumen emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 on the prepared surface cleaned with hydraulic broom, moistening the surface including cost and carriage of emulsion, hire charges of machinery and labour, cost of fuel and lubricants all complete as per clause 503 of specification for road & bridges works of MORTH (5th Revision) on Bituminous surface (using bitumen Emulsion at the rate of 0.25 kg per sqm), using RS-I Type packed bituminous emulsion complete all as specified and as directed by Engr - in - charge.

M&L forpremixedbituminous semi-dense asphaltic concrete 30mm consolidated thickeness laid using mechanical paver for any width of road with 5.00% (Minimum) binder content, paving butimen VG-30 grade byweight oftotal mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and as directed by Engr - in - charge.

M&L for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on road pavement, parade groundetc., providing & applying 2mm thick road marking strips (reflective ) of specified shade/colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/semi automatic application machine fitted with profile stone heater driven by experienced operator on road surfaces including preparation of previously treated surfaces, cleaning surfaces of all dust, scales oils grease and foreign materials etc complete all as specified and directed.
