| 12 | Notes for item No. 11 above : (a) Mobilization of tools, plants, equipments and manpower required for carrying out soil investigation, setting of boring/drilling as required and later demobilization of plants and equipments after completion of work.(b) Collecting undisturbed and disturbed samples and performing STP test at every 1.5m interval.(c ) Conveyance of sample collected at site to the testing lab as required for the purpose of testing and analysis.(d) Lab testing including triaxial test, direct shear test, liquid limit, plastic limit, plasticity index, grain size, specific gravity, ground water table, soil classification, bore logs and bore hole chart, permissible settlement,unconsolidated test on undisturbed sample, crushing strength of hard rock samples recovered, unconsolidated triaxial shear test etc.(e) Estimation of SBC of soil.(f) Submitting photographic record during the process.(g) Submitting test report in triplicate, duly vetted along with detailed recommendation about type of foundation required.(h)Review of structural design based on the actual SBC obtained after soil investigation and submitting six copies of Structural Design and Drawings vetted by any IIT/NIT/Govt. College of Engg/University Institute of Technology complete all as specified and directed. |

| 20 | Supply and fix framed work as in doors or gates of stainless steel of grade 304(16702), ASTM (86221) standard welded types (12143), ISO (20239) certified of size 50x50mm width or depth and outer dia 60.3mm of medium graded stainless steel in tubular trusses including special shaped washer etc. At the top of the door spike should be provided for security purpose for main gate and should be provided a small inspection window for viewing outside of the gate when closed from inside etc complete using ERW or induction but welded tubes conforming to IS 1161-1979 grade St-304, drilled for fixing of stainless steel sheeting or other covering, etc to be prepared for hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting) and hanging, also stainless steel fastening and fixing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge. |

| 22 | Notes for item No. 1 to 21 above : (a)The Suhelipur Island is a remote and un inhabited Island having no water supply and no place for living. The contractor has to make arrangements for water supply and water storage on his own and there is no public transportaion from mainland to Suhelipar Island and also non availability of boat for shifting of material/labour from ship/manju to island from deep sea since this island is surrounded with lagoon and no jetty is available. Also make arrangement for setting up of labour camps and material storage in the Suhelipur Island at his own cost complete all. Contractor is deemed to have included these aspects in his quoted rates and hence no claim what so ever in this regard will be entertained at a later stage. |
