M&L for preparing of exisiting construction joints including removing filled material in joints of runway by removing the cracking out joints 10 to 12 mm wide and 25 mm deep including removing all loose material and cleaning the joints with brush and removing all loose fine particles with compressed air , application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minuteand priming and sealed with using polyurethane based sealing compound with suitable primer as per manufacturer\"srecommendation, polyurethane sealent conforming with BS -4254 and EN-141875-2003(for hydrolysis/water resistant) with minimum movement accommodation factor +30% with ten years performance guarantee and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the same after sealant is applied complete all as speciied and directed. Note:- Old unserviceable materialso obtained from removing of existing filled up materials shall be disposed offout side MoD land.

M&L for preparing of existing expansion joints including removing filled material in joints of runway by removing the cracking out joints 25 to 30 mm wide and 30 mm deep including removing all loose material and cleaning the joints with brush and removing all loose fine particles with compressed air, primed and providing suitable dia polyurethane back up rod or deboing strip and top 13 mm primed and sealed with using polyurethane based sealing compound with suitable primer as per manufacturers recommendation polyurethane sealant complying with BS-5212 & BS-4254 and EN 141875-2003 (for hydrolysis/water resistance test), priming the sides with minimum MAF + 30% with ten years performance guarantee and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the same aftersealant is applied complete all as specified and directed.Note:- Old unserviceable materialso obtained from removing of existing filled up materials shall be disposed offout side MoD land.

M&L for cutting of existing Runway/Taxi tracks at cracks and at spalled edges upto a minimumdepth of 25 to 35mm by mechanical tools making groove at edges cleaning throughlyby air blower/air blastisng and applying proprietory primer on the cleaned surfacesto obtain tack and finally filling in ELASTOMERIC CONCERETE of make Choksey Chemicals/CIPY/BASF or equivalent as approved (prepared by mixingpart A,part B and adding fiberglass sand all as per manufactureres instructions)and properly mixing in purpose made mixer plant electrically operated) to obtain a homogeneous mixture and finally tooling the surface with hand tools to obtain a grooved textured finish complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i)The ratequoted is inclusive ofproviding masking tape at joints and use and waste of form work as requiredat spalled edges and making good the disturbed joint filling around the area where material is applied.(ii) The work shall be carried out through authorised and qualified applicator of elastomeric concrete.(iii) Contractor shall submit manufacturer\"s gurantee certificate to GE in this regard.

M&Lfor applying one coat of runway road marking paint golden, yellow, or whitecolour as approvedaqua based to give uniform finish including preparation of old painted concrete surface of runway slab or taxi track or dispersal by washing down with soap waterfor paintingas lines, dashes, arrows, letters and the likeexceeding 10cm width or girth complete all as specified and directed.

M&Lforapplying one coat of runway road marking paintof colour as approvedaqua basedto give uniform finish including preparation of old painted concrete surfaces of runway slab or taxi track or dispersal by washing down with soap waterfor paintingas lines, dashes, arrows, letters and the likenot exceeding 10cm width or girth complete all as specified and directed.Note for Item No 5&6 :-Masking tape shall be used on edges of paints before painting and removing the same after paint is applied where ever required and as directed.
