| 4 | Note:1. Before plaster, Cement slurry with cement @ 2.2Kg/Sqm has to be spread in the area. 2. The work has to be executed diligently with experienced manpower and curing has to be done for 7days. 3. APP has to be laid on bone dry roof surface to avoid any stripping and bubble effect. |
| 5 | Providing and laying APP (Atactic Polypropylene Polymer) modified prefabricated five layer 3 mm thick water proofing membrane of approved make (at all heights), black finished reinforced with non-woven polyester matt consisting of a coat of bitumen primer for bitumen membrane @ 0.40 litre/sqm by the same membrane manufacture of density at 25°C, 0.87-0.89 kg/ litre and viscocity 70-160 cps. Over the primer coat the layer of membrane shall be laid using Butane Torch and sealing all joints etc, and preparing the surface complete. The vital physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shall be as under : Joint strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 23°C as 650/ 450N/ 5cm. Tear strength in longitudinal and transverse direction as 300/250N. Softening point of membrane not less than 150°C. Cold flexibility shall be upto -2°C when tested in accordance with ASTM, D - 5147. The laying of membrane shall be got done through the authorised applicator of the manufacturer of membrane : |

| 8 | Note: 1. The laying of APP membrane shall be got done only through the authorised applicator of the APP manufacturer. Authorisation letter (of current date) issued in this regard by the manufacturer to be submitted by the contractor to Deptt2. The APP treatment shall have guarantee for a minimum period of 10years from the date of successful completion of the entire work.The contractor shall submit performance guarantee amount of 10% of the value of the work executed valid for a period of 10 years, from the date of sucessful completion of the work in the form of Bank Guarantee as per CPWD norms in the enclosed format.3 Approved manufacturer of APP M/s STP Ltd. or equivalent.4. The testing of completed work shall be carried out profusely by spraying water by water jet. |
| 9 | 5. An overlap of 100 mm width/length wise shall be provided in the APP membrane joints. Flashing shall be provided at the junction of parapet and the roof and the same shall be grouted into parapet brick wall and sealedwith appropriate material. All rain water pipe openings to be suitably sealed with the APP. The entire treatment shall be carried out at all heights and as per the manufacturer\"s specification and direction of Engineer-In-Charge.6. | 13 | Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.Impt Note: 1. Measurement for disposal shall be taken by measuring the size of the trolly. The net volume of the malba disposed shall be reduced by 20% for voids for making payment. |
