| 1 | General Notes:1) The make/model/brand for all the BOQ items shall be as per suggestive makes of Annexure-B of Section-VII of the tender document. The make/model/brand mentioned in Annexure-B of Section-VII of the tender document is merely for guidance and bidders can prefer any other make which is meeting technical specifications given under Section-V and Schedule of Quantities of Tender document and shall confirm to the relevant BIS codes and other relevant codes. However, the bidder may suggest any equivelent make/ model/brand meeting technical parameters on or before pre-bid conference for approval of BARC(V).2) The Scope of works which are not included in any specific items but indicated in the document \"General Scope of all works\" shall be within the scope of overall contract works. The cost of work/item/material indicated in this document shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates of all individual items. 3) The quoted rates shall include necessary royalties, seigneiorage charges,etc. and all other charges to supply all the required construction materials.4) For all standards and code of practices, specifications, like Indian Standard, MORT&H, ASTM, etc. refer onlylatest revisionsincluding all applicable amendments, revisions and additional publications (during contract period) and these have to be followed. 5)Prior approval for source of all construction materials by submission ofrelavent test certificates, documents, invoices etc. have to be taken from BARC.6) All the tests mentioned in Quality Assurance Plan(QAP) should be carried out without any extra cost.7) The contractor has to submit all royalty /seigneiorage slips,etcfor all the naturally available construction materials before submitting the RA bills. |
| 2 | Fabrication, Transportation and fixing of M.S foldable Gate of 4.30 m *1.80 m with 04 nos of foldable shutters including supplying of structural steel, cutting, drilling, welding, fabricating, hoisting, fixing in position, applying a priming coat of Epoxy Zinc Phosphate primer and 02 coats of epoxy based PU paint etc., complete all as per drawings and Technical specificationsand cost includingall fittings, fixtures, accessories as per the below notes and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Notes for the above: 1) Structural steel required for the work shall not be supplied by the Department.2) Structural steel shall confirm to IS 2062: 2011. MS hollow circular / square / rectangular sections along with the associated connections of approved quality.3) Structural steel for the main framing shall be with E250 Grade of steel confirming to IS:2062-2011.4) MS Hollow sections shall confirm to IS: 4923-2017.5) Materials to be procured directly or from their authorised dealers and test cerificate to be produced.6) The contractor shall supply documentary evidence of purchase of steel, Test certificate from manufacturers with out any extra cost.7) Welding weights, connections, bolts and nuts shall notbe measured for payment but the cost of which shall be deemed to have been included in the rates.8)Welding Electrodes manufactured of specified suitable grade only shall be used.9) Holes to be drilled only by Drilling machines and gas cutting of holes are not permitted.10) Rate inclusive of all consumables like gas, welding electrodes and tools and tackles etc. 11) The Liquid Penetrant Inspection shall be carried out in 10% of the total joints and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge without any extra cost. |
| 3 | Specifications: i). Main members: Rectangular hollow sections: 80*40*3.2 mm for all round the gate and horizontal members confirm to IS: 4923-2017. ii). Intermediate or secondary members (Horizontal: 25*25*2.6 mm Square hollow box sections shall be welded at a vertical interval of 90 mm c/c).iii). 500 mm wide SS 304 Grade sheet of 1.00 mm thickness at bottom for all shutters of the gate.iv). Gate shall be fixed to the existing structural steel columns using MS plates of 16 mm thickness and Channels of ISMC 100 (100*50*5 mm) or Suitable angles ISA 100*100*6 mm at 4 locations on either side of the gate, as directed by the EIC. v). Vertical stiffeners to each shutter: 02 nos of 50 mm wide 8 mm thick flats to each shutter as verticals to be welded to the square hollow sections (total flats required for one full gate: 08 nos. of 1640 mm length each. vi). Suitable SS Heavy aldrops on either side of the gates to be provided. 03 nos of Channel locks of ISMC (made specifically) of 50*50*50 mm size and 300 mm long shall be fixed at top to arrest the shutter\"s movement upon closure.vii). SS Hinges heavy duty shall be fixed to the gates (Length 300 mm minimum, total numbers: 12 to 16 nos.). Heavy quality SS rollers shall be fixed at the bottom of the shutters. All the hinges, rollers and guide channels and stoppers shall be greased.viii). Guide channel of suitable size in the range of 50*50*5.0 mm to 75*75*5.0 mm shall be fixed in the flooring by carefully breaking the existing CC Flooring and any damages shall be rectified at the cost of the contractor, as directed by the EIC.xvi). Any gap below the gate shall be covered /closed using Silicon bottom strip /self adhesive door gap rubber filler to stop entry of reptiles to the satisfaction of EIC.xvii). All the metal/steel surfaces shall be painted using one coat of epoxy based PU primer and 02 coats of Epoxy based PU paint.xviii). All raw materials of fabrication, fixtures, hardware items shall be approved before proceeding with fabrication/making/insatllation.xix).Fabrication job shall confirm to relavant IS Standards viz.; IS:816 / IS: 800 / IS: 2062 / IS: 814 xx). Complete gate shall be fabricated & finished according to the drawings and to the satisfaction of EIC and shall have smooth operation. |

| 6 | Providing and Painting two coats of synthetic enamel paint on old & existing Steel Surfaces of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade with a primer coat including preparation of the surfaces to the satisfaction of EIC using sand papers/power tools etc., scaffolding complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. |
