1	M&L for taking down defective centrifugal pump set 100 HP capacity by disconnecting the pump from motor after unscrewing nuts/ bolts of coupling, foundation, suction pipe delivery pipes and shifting of pump to workshop for repair/ servicing, comprising strip opening of pump, replacement of any defective parts, carrying out necessary lath work, re-assembling and shifting from workshop to site, re-installation at same location as directed by Engr-in-Charge, testing on full load capacity at least for 8 hrs, complete all as specified and as directed. Note :-(a)The spares shall be measured and paid seperately in the relevent items given below.(b) Cost of labour for replacement of spares and transportation are deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (c)The pumpset shall be spared for one week for repair from the date of complaint given by AGE/ JE E/M regarding breakdown. Thecontactor is responsible for making alternate arrangement of pump set in case of time required more than one week.(d)In case services affected due to delay in repair of pump set, a penalty @ Rs 1000 per day will be levied from the contactor.(e)Please note that this penalty is exclusively other than the condition 67 of IAFW-2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract.(f)The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding.

12	M&L for rewinding ofsquirrel cage induction electrical motor , 3 phase, 415 volts with suitable size of copper enameled winding wire and insulating materials incl disconnecting all electrical connections ,decoupling from pump,taking down the motor from foundation , cleaning and varnishing the stator & rotor winding, heating and drying, replacement of burnt terminals, greasing to bearings, re-assembling the motor and refixing of motor on the foundation by using new nut, bolts and washers, coupling with pump,checking alignment connecting all electrical connections,checking the vibrations, RPM and testing on full load complete all as specified and directed for 100HPmotor capacity.
13	M & L for servicing of starter by checking and servicing the contactor coil , over load relay coiland any other parts and replacement the burnt out wiring including any modification to pump starter panel by welding,cutting , grinding ,drillingtesting the panel complete all as specified and directedfor the100 HP capacity pump setsNotes :-(i) Minor spare parts such as nuts,bolts ,washers ,indicator lamps , start,stop push button and suitable size of copper wire are deemed to be include in quoted rate.
14	Supply & fix in replacement of 3 Pole power contactor AC 415 V 160 Amps ,AC3 ( inductive load ) type with Aux contact 2 NO + 2 NC50 Hz Model No. as per existing framesuitable for 100 HP Pump sets complete all as specified and as directed.Make : L & T / Indo Asian /Schneider
15	Supply & fix in replacement adjustable CT/Direct operated thermal over load relay 105 to 156 A for 100 HP motor 3 phase 415v , 3 pole , with single phase protection including CTs complete all as specified and as directed.Make : L & T / Indo Asian /Schneider

60	Note :-(a) In case laying of CI/GI/DI pipe line is to be executed in civil area, it will be the responsibility of the contractor to obtain necessary permission for cutting of road & berm from BWSSB/ state Govt agency.
61	(b) For this purpose amount to be paid online to BWSSB, same is deemed to be included in unit quoted rate.
62	(c) The T&P like JCB, Drill Machine, Moveable Generator etc required for cutting of road shall be arranged by the contractor & no extra cost shall be paid for the same.
63	(d) After execution of work, the contractor will make good disturbed portion of road with bitumen or PCC complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Cost of the same is deemed to be included in unit quoted rate.
64	M & L for DI specials and fittings as per IS for spigot and socketed pipes or flanged pipe for water mains I branches lines such as bends(any type radious and angle ) tapers any type (straight, bend,increasing,decresing,or double socket etc) tee pices,single branch,Y juntion, double branch, cross, including connecting pieces one end flanged and other socket or spigot and bell mouth pices suitable for rubber joint,tyton joint up to 300 mm bore and conforming to IS-9523: 2000 complete all as specified and directed.
65	Material and labour for Making arrangement to flush out the existing pipe line of any type 160 to 200 mm bore and upto 100m length, applying 4.5 N/sqmm pressure kg/sq cm pressure to remove scalings/ sludges/ other blocking materials to make smooth flow of water including testing all as specified and directed.
66	Material and labour for Making arrangement to flush out the existing pipe line of any type 110 to 150 mm bore and upto 100m length, applying 4.5 N/sqmm pressure kg/sq cm pressure to remove scalings/ sludges/ other blocking materials to make smooth flow of water including testing all as specified and directed.
67	Note for item 65 & 66 :-(i)The Contractor is deemed toarrange necessary tools and equipments, removing or alteration of fittings from existing pipe lines, arragement of plugging devices, etc to build up specified pressure required to wash out the pipes. This shall be inclusive in quoted rate. (ii)Excavation and earth work required shall be measured and paid seperately. (iii)The flushing out shall be carried out with fresh filled water of well only duly chlorinated with specified sodium hypochlorite solution to disinfect the pipe lines from all pathogens and Coliform organisms.This shall be inclusive in quoted rate.
68	S&F in replacementfoot valve cast iron of size 50 mm bore including rubber insertion, packing material, nuts, bolts, and washer with suitable new one all as specified and directed.
69	Material and labour for Cleaning of valve pit chamber for sluice/gate valve of 50/80/100/150/200/ size by removing mud/ grass/ sludge/ other waste materialsfrom the chamber and from surroundings upto 1mtr distance, carryout petty cement repairs with cement mortar 1:4, apply one coat of white wash on plastered surfaces and one coat of synthetic enamelpaint on steel surfaces complete to make it operator friendly valve chamber complete as specified and directed. Note :- Periodicity and locations of valve chambers shall be given as per requirement by the Engineer-in-Charge.
70	Material and labourfor Fabricate valve chamber coversmade out of suitable size MS angle/MS plate/flat/rod, hinges, locking arrangement including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer including removing existing unserviceable rusted cover complete all as specified and directed.
71	Material and labour for Painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over coat of zink chrome on steel surfaces of any description, over 10cm in width or girth,not otherwise described complete all as specified and directed.
72	Material and labourfor Attending day to day water supply service related complaintslike choking of rising main pipes of buildings, blockage in control valves/ float valves/ pipe fittings, etc, applying necessaryengineering efforts like dismantle of pipes and fittings to clean and remove blocking objects, descaling of pipes, re-fixing of pipes on wall, etc to restore the proper flow of water to service tanks all as specified and directed.
73	Note :- (a) The contractor has to attend above mentioned job in any location of AFTC, 2 DC and entire AFS jalahalli East and West area
74	(b)The service tanks are positioned on roof top of multi storied buildings upto three storey. Contractor is responsible to ensure that the labour employed should be equipped with safety items like industrial helmet, safety belt, extensible ladder of 40 feet length, plumbing and cuttings tools, etc.
75	(c) The cost of rethreading of GI pipes of 25mm dia and adding of new GI nipple of suitable length after rethreading is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.
76	(d) Due to shortage of water in the station, the repair work and testing required under this item need to be carried out during water supply distribution hours i.e. 5:30 AM to 7:30 AM. Nothing extra shall be permitted in this regard.
77	(e) The cost of repair to the damages of cemented surfaces/ external finishes/ metal clamps of rising pipes are also deemed to be included in the quoted rate.
78	(f)In case of any delay in attending the complaint more than 6 hrs after handing over routine/urgent complaints, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty clause given here as under.
79	(g)If the delay is more then 06 hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 100/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other then the condition 67 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt.
80	(h) The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding.
81	Supply and fixingin repair 25 mm dia Chlorinated PVC (CPVC) Pipes of pressure rating 10kgf/cm2including fittings like socket / union / Tee / Reducer / Nipple etc complete fixed to wall/ceilings/ in floors etc, complete all as specified and directed.

167	Attending, Repairing/restoring of electric power supply in the AFTC, CQAE and Jalahalli area, after identifying fault in HT 11 KVor LT415 volt system, RMU,VCB,LT Panels, two/ four pole structure, transformers, Over head lines in any section or circuit, including checking of insulators, lightning arresters, GODs, LT Panel Boards and all electrical accessories and making it serviceable in all respect including replacement of nut, bolt, washers and minor parts/spares, insulation tapes and cable sockets of any size, complete all as specified and directed.

175	(viii) In case of major defect, the period for attending of complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC by accessing extent of repair required through joint inspection by Engineer-in-Charge and authorised service agent of the equipment at the site. If complaint is not rectified within the stipulated period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs.500/- per hours shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor.

230	The quoted rate shall also deemed to be included the following :- (i)Prior toinstallation of maintenance free chemicalearthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthingwork to be donein presence of Engr-in- Charge/JE (E/M),user and the report has tosubmitto Garrison Engineer with recommendation of manufacturer, if required additional interconnection ofearthing (not more than 08 number of earthing) to achive earth result less then 1 Ohms. The arrangement done for soil resistivity testingandsubmission of report with recommendationdeemed to be included in the quoted rate.
231	(ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for indicating only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contractor shall quote rate by considering all factors.
232	(iii) Rateofearth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earthresistance reducingliquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.
233	(iv)Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor along with the sample approval
234	(v) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH value should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete.
235	(vi) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm shallbe fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end (copper strip upto 7.5 RM shall be considered in unit quoted rate and extra will be measured and paid separately).
236	(vii)Testing of earth shall be carriedout in presence ofdepartmental and user representativeand report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer duly signed by all concerned.
237	(viii)Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor.Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.
238	(ix)Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned.After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.
239	(x) The contractor shall give a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.
240	(xi) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including soft/ disintegrated or hard rock.
241	(xii) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is maintained.
242	(xiii) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing for each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor from final bill for the guarantee period.
243	(xiv) The electrode shallcarry manufacturer\"s name .
244	(xv) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper boundedrodto avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.
