Soil Investigation:Conducting soil investigation and collecting disturbad / undisturbed soil samples as per IS2131, laboratory testing of soil samples collected from the project site (3 location as directed by Engineer-in-Charge) and analysis of field and laboratory results to determine the physical and engineering properies of soil at differentdepths (Approx 15 meter in all kind of soil), essential fordesigning the foundation system.The following tests to be carried out:-i) Grain size analysis (Sieve & Hydrometer) as per IS 2720-Part-IVii) Conducting specific gravity of soil sample as per IS 2720-Part-IIIiii) Natural moisture content as per IS 2720-Part-IIiv) Alterberg limits as per IS 2720 Part-Vv) Direct shear test on soil samples as per IS Part-Vvi) Chemical test on soil samples as per IS 3025vii) Chemical test on water samples as per IS 3025viii) Triaxial compressive strength on UDS/remoulded samples, unconsolidated and undrained (UU) test or any suitable test as per IS 2720 Part-IIix) Soaked CBR test/Field CBR testsx) In situ voids ratio/Relative densityxi) Safe Bearing Capacity of SoilNote :- Soil Test report alongwith recommendation should be submitted within 45 days after award of the Contract.
